A stylishly updated, but still 'classic', 1970's Australian Beach House just one minute through the bush opposite the house to the beautiful Silverleaves Beach, Phillip Island. We have a minimum 4 night booking (6 nights minimum in summer school holidays). The Silverleaves cafe is a 5 minute walk. Upstairs the house has 3 bedrooms, bathroom, open living area and kitchen and an expansive deck. Downstairs there is a rumpus room with a pool table, two single sofa beds, and a toilet/shower/laundry.

The space

The house has 3 bedrooms upstairs, a bathroom and an open plan kitchen and living area opening onto the large upstairs deck, which is set up among the trees. You can hear the waves and see parrots, kookaburras and water birds. At ground level you may see wallabies, blue-tongue lizards and echidnas. Downstairs there is a rumpus room (with pool table and two sofa beds) and a second bathroom and laundry. There is also a locked private studio at the back downstairs.

Guest access

The whole house is available apart from the studio at the back (which will be locked and empty while you are staying). Once a booking is confirmed access arrangements and other information will be sent.

Great house and a perfect location: peaceful, park side & a short walk to a lovely beach. Loved the decor, amenities & thoughtful touches throughout ... not least the welcoming bottle of champagne!!! Particularly enjoyed relaxing on the balcony overlooking the treetops. We'd definitely love to stay again!

This place is absolutely amazing if you are looking for a quiet getaway but still close to the action (30 min walk to Cowes if you want to have a nice dinner and enjoy a glass or three of wine :) or a 5min drive). The house is very clean and well equipped (especially the AC was highly appreciated), beach is literally 1 min walk, very quiet and feels almost private. We have been to Philip Island many times, but this was by far the best experience! Thank you Graham!

This was a great house for a two-family stay. It's in a perfect location for young families, and immaculately presented - just as it appears in the profile. We had nine people in total (including 5 kids aged between 1 & 8) and never felt too squashed. There's a master bedroom with double bed, two bedrooms each with three-sleeper bunk (double on bottom, single on top), and two fold-out couches downstairs that are OK for one person each. There are no internal stairs so the billiard room downstairs is accessed via the outside stairs. There's enough living space upstairs and a great deck for bbqs and outside dining and relaxing. The beach is less than 2 minutes by foot, and the bushy park across the street is home to many friendly kookaburras, and perfect for family games. If you can take your bikes and scooters be sure to do so. The streets of Silverleaves are ideal for youngsters on wheels. The shop is a short stroll away and it's an easy ride into Cowes,

Great and quiet place to stay. A good escape from the busy island atmosphere of the MotoGP weekend. Would recommend!

The host was great right from the first email. Very well organised. The house was great - just perfect for my wife and 2 small-ish kids. Lots of natural light and equipped with everything you could need... bbq, deck, fireplace, microwave etc. I must say the main bed was even more comfortable than my own at home. The beach is only a 2 minute walk away and it's lovely and peaceful. Overall a great stay - nice and tidy. Absolutely no complaints from me.
