Our spacious, modern and dynamic 3BD apartment is placed in the heart of Melbourne's Southbank district. It is a quite residential complex, offering pool, gym, and space. Access to city, sports and arts venues, and the best restaurants and bars.

The space

The apartment is perfect, everyone says that it feels like a home away from home. Only minutes from Southgate River Promenade, Crown Casino, the Arts Centre, Botanical Gardens or the CBD, boasting great coffee, amazing breakfast, world class eateries, a river escapade, or the many arts and gardens.

Only 10 minute walk from Melbourne's sporting hub, the MCG, the Australian Open tennis centre, AAMI stadium (home of ARL rugby and A League soccer), and Etihad Stadium.

It is a short drive to the beaches, and the famous, ultra hip, cool strips of Chapel Street (Cool), Acland Street (Hip), Brunswick St (Alternative), and Lygon St (Italian).

Tram stop is a minute way. Train: Melbourne's famous and central Flinders street station is across the river, 7 minute walk. Taxi's are always passing by on the main streets. With car, you are a block away from the freeway that can take you east west south or north.

Secure parking on site. This place is not your 30 storey building where you feel trapped and enclosed. This place is spacious; balconies each end, big lush trees surrounding you, low level, open space internally and externally, large living area and bedrooms.

The complex:
Boasting resort style facilities the complex has an outdoor pool, gym facilities, large grassy gardens, a barbeque – a unique open-plan low-rise in the heart of the city.

The Apartment:
Our apartment boasts 3 large spacious bedrooms with a brand new King Size bed with clean, good quality linens in the master room, The other two bedrooms both have brand new queen size beds. There is also a blow up queen size bed available should it be required with sheets and pillows. The apartment has 1 bathroom with a separate toilet, washing machine and dryer. Towels are provided.

We have 2 balconies one facing the front of the building, and the other with a fantastic view of the pool. We also have a fully equipped brand new kitchen with a stainless steel fridge with water and ice maker. We also have Foxtel for all those that love TV. Our preferred check-in time is 3pm and check-out at 10am however these times can be negotiated, please let us know.

Thanks Chris, easy check in. Good location. If I was really fussy I would say bathroom could use a do over. Hot water only lasted 1 shower the second day. Tip for other people staying in future -bring your own pillows.

The apartment has good sized bedrooms and a great open plan living area. It's easy to get around from there, with lots of public transport within walking distance. Chris was prompt to reply to any questions we had both before and during our stay. The only negatives were that the carpets and some of the fixtures/fittings were a bit dated and could use an update. Also the location means it's quite noisy due to all the traffic and nearby construction; but it's not loud enough to ruin your stay once you're inside with the balcony doors shut.

I love Australian football (AFL), cricket, and most other sports. Good food and great restaurants, a new beer and even a good cocktail. Travelling is a must, and good music be it current or old school.
