Julia was the worst guest I've ever hosted! She is the first guest that I've ever left a bad review for. I think she was anticipating that I would leave her a bad review so she left one for me also. I don't know why the home did not have a "home" feeling in her mind.
I had no personal conflicts with her whatsoever, so I was surprised to see that she ran up a $500 electrical bill heating the house to 80 degrees, used more than 250 gigabytes of internet data, and left the house a total mess. It took 8-10 hours to clean up after Julia. She didn't even pretend to clean up at all after her 30 day stay.
When she checked-out, she left the front door of the house wide open, and almost every single light and ceiling fan in the house was on. It seemed like she was actively trying to cause problems!
She left me a 3-star review for value, when I charged her $37/night for her, her baby and her husband to stay in the house over Christmas and New Years. Local hotels are about $250/night and they definitely don't have a a "home" feeling.
