We absolutely loved the space. We had a group of 7 stay at the house for five nights and had others join us for dinner and drinks. It is a great house to hang out and short walking distance to some iconic New Orleans spots (e.g. Tipitina's, Hansen's, Casamento's).

Tim's place was perfect for our group of Jazz Fest veterans and a pleasure to have for the weekend. We would definitely stay there again. Tim was easy to communicate with and check-in and out were super easy. I found the pictures to be accurate and the house to be much larger than I expected. The two upstairs bathrooms are large and recently upgraded. A/C and heat (we needed a bit of both while we were there) work well. The main floor provides plenty of space to spread out and the kitchen is nicely arranged and equipped. The back yard is a lovely space to hang out with places to sit, shade, and running water feature. The location was ideal for us. One can easily walk to many shops, restaurants, bars and even live music. The central location makes it an easy ride to any part of town. The house was clean but not spotless.

This was our first time staying at Tim's home in New Orleans for Jazz Fest, but we all can't wait to come back! The location is perfect, being less than a block from Magazine Street and a short walk to great bars, bakeries and restaurants (I recommend La Boulangerie Bakery or La Petite Grocery restaurant) The house was much larger than the pictures make it out to be with high ceilings upstairs and downstairs. Each room is upstairs and connected, but there are sliding wood dividers for privacy. The kitchen is well stocked with everything you need. There was even a closet with some "festival gear" like camping chairs, umbrellas, etc., which we added to when we left. The back garden area is a private oasis where you can hang out next to a little babbling pond. A/C controls for both upstairs and downstairs worked great during a few hot and humid days, plus there are ceiling fans in each room. Not mentioned in the description is a set of bunk beds in one of the bedrooms, in addition to the queen bed. Great for additional sleeping. The gated parking spot was awesome, as the street was typically pretty full. One tip: I had the bedroom facing the street and there is an animal hospital at the end of the block, so I did hear dogs barking all morning. Not a huge deal, but may want to bring earplugs. Nobody else in the house was bothered by any noise. Check-in was easy and all communication with Tim was prompt. Thank you for being a great host and helping us with a last minute change, we look forward to returning!

Our 3 generation family group of 5 had a wonderful time in New Orleans, and Timothy's home was a perfect base for us. Far enough from the French Quarter for it not to be crazy, but convenient enough to get anywhere by public transit. The home has top of the line appliances, high ceilings, and gorgeous woodwork everywhere. We ate in a few times and walked to restaurants other evenings. We especially enjoyed having morning coffee in the courtyard by the water fountain. We never met Timothy, but he was easy to reach and always very accommodating.

Timothy's house is spacious and comfortable. The kitchen and sitting room drew our group of 6 together for coffee in the morning. The back yard was perfect for a pre-dinner cocktail. Bathrooms were big and nicely updated. We all slept well on the beds. The location is excellent for Uptown restaurants and clubs. And, Timothy was a great and responsive host.

The house was wonderful with a very nice kitchen, sitting rooms and spacious bedrooms. The boulangerie around the corning is a must for breakfast.
