Judy's place is basic but has everything you need. We stayed for 5 nights with a baby comfortably. If you use the heaters and realise it's simple accommodation for a very reasonable price, you'll be fine. Judy was very helpful and accommodating. I think a lot of these reviews are…

Response from Judy:
Hi Heather, thanks for such nice comments. Yes it is basic, but reasonable price. I am hoping to put floor boards down soon and also gas heating which will make it more comfortable.

Judy's place provides basic accommodation suitable for short stays. It is very cold so bring your winter woolies. The space is small and does not have a separate sitting area from the kitchen.
Judy User Profile
Response from Judy:
Dear Hannah, thanks for your feedback and I am sorry that it was cold. It has been cold in Tasmania and even with the fire on in my apartment all the time it is still cold in the mornings. There has been frosts in Tasmania, as you know for the past week, that is below freezing. In the summer months Laurie's Place is rented out to strawberry pickers and during winter my rate is similar to a back packers in a 12 bed dormitory with no heater. I hope you enjoyed Bruny Island which is more expensive but maybe better for your needs.

Loved the house, the only issue was the location. Because it was so far from Hobart center and up some dangerous roads we needed to be home before dark. It didn't give us a chance to see the city at night or anywhere else for that matter. All in all it is in a beautiful area with…
