Getting around

International visitors arriving at Malpensa will reach the apartment in 40 minutes, or less. The shuttle train to and from the airport is two blocks away from the apartment. The fare is 12 euros.

From Linate Airport your best choice is a taxi.

From Central Station you have a choice of a taxi or the subway (green line, five stops to Cadorna)

Subway: both the Red Line and the Green Line stop at Cadorna, one block from the apartment. Three stops on the red line and you are at Il Duomo cathedral.

Other things to note

This is an elegant, spacious and comfortable apartment where our family lived for years. It is not a crammed pied-a-terre for budget travelers. Everyone is welcome, but this apartment is best suited for people who value quality over savings.

Andrew is an AMAZING host. Super communicative and helpful. Willing to go the extra mile to make your stay absolutely perfect. And his apartment is an unbelievable location - close to downtown, right off the metro (super convenient to getting to Rho Fiera Convention Center), and lots of amazing shops and restaurants nearby. Bar across the street is open late and happens to also have fantastic sandwiches around the clock. Apartment was clean and tidy, with a fully-appointed kitchen. Lots of hot water in the bathrooms, and blackout window coverings in the bedrooms. Fantastic stay.

Andrew was extremely helpful, although we did not get to meet him. The appartment is huge!!! Very clean, warm and has a beautiful decoration. Great location, close to Cadorna metro station with lots of cafes and restaurants nearby. Recommended and saved for future purpose!

We spent a week in Andrew's flat over the Christmas holidays, because it was right next to my brother's house in Milan. The flat is located in a really central and wonderful part of Milan, close to everything, and just round the corner from Cadorna station. It is a really stunning flat, with 4m high ceilings, vastly spacious rooms, lots of light. It is in a nice building serviced by a lift and a doorman. Decorated in a tasteful, sober style.

Our first visit to Milan was memorable and very enjoyable due to the considerable skill of Andrew as our Airbnb host, and the truly exceptional accommodation he offers. Andrew was considerate and efficient, providing everything we needed and then some in terms of communication and amenities. His attention to detail ensured that our arrival and stay were well-supported and problem free. His proficient staff, especially Marco the English-speaking doorman, gave us all the guidance and answers we could use. Andrew's apartment is elegant, well-maintained, and very comfortable. As he mentions, this isn't just a "rental", it is his home, and he is rightfully proud of it. Additionally, there is a sense of history here due to Andrew being a member of one of Milan's founding families dating back to the 1400's. All of these add up to a truly unique experience. Andrew's description of the apartment being "super-central location" is completely accurate. Milan is a vibrant and dynamic city of 1.3 million people, and though it mellows out nicely in the evening, it never really sleeps and the hum of the city is ever-present. The location couldn't be better for access to restaurants, historic sites, transportation (a car was never needed) such as the Metro and train station, and the best gelato ever at "Massimo's" just around the corner on Corso Magenta. Thanks, Andrew, for the type of experience that people like us travel the world to find. If we're fortunate enough to find ourselves back in Milan some day, we would hope to find your apartment ready and waiting.

Response from Andrew:
Your enthusiasm and appreciation made me eager to go out of my way to make your stay something more than a simple rental transaction. That's the beauty and the magic of AirBnB connections.

Andrew's flat is very nice and in a great location. I was welcomed by Alba and she was very nice, she waited for me to hand me the keys and explain me the area. The house was spotless and very clean. My friends and I enjoyed staying there.

Andrew is very easy to reach, very responsive and very helpful. The apartment is exactly as described, very clean and spacious, and the building itself is very well maintained, with a discreet but elegant lobby. The apartment is well situated - it's a short walk to most of the better restaurants, bars, Milanese architectural highlights and attractions. It's a bright and high-ceilinged space and the balconies are a great feature. The address also made for very easy Uber pick-ups. A very positive experience - thank you Andrew.
