An antique house on 2 floors with tall airy windows, high ceilings and open views over the harbour and across to Rhodes. Spacious and elegant within easy reach of the waterfront, tavernas and beaches. There are 3 air-conditioned bedrooms, 1 double, and 1 twin upstairs, plus I twin downstairs, and also a sofa bed in the living room that can accommodate 1 adult or two small children. Free wifi is included. Upstairs balcony with table and chairs and fabulous views.

The space
Mouthouria is well known locally as the former residence of the Turkish governor in the Ottoman era. Upstairs is a large elegant lounge (salone) with a glorious painted ceiling, and doors to a good-sized balcony with sea views. Upstairs also has a double bedroom, twin bedroom, kitchenette and shower room. Downstairs has a large fully equipped kitchen/breakfast room, a twin bedroom, shower room (with washing machine) and front terrace. The house is placed centrally in the village, only a short distance up from the waterfront.

Halki is a tranquil, traditional Greek island. The main village, Emborio,
clusters around the harbour, with many excellent tavernas. Mouthouria is a couple of levels above the waterfront with a panoramic view, minutes away from tavernas, shops and nearby beaches.
