Dear Michelle: Thank you for your valuable review. I feel so bad that you had such a disturbing experience with us. I do want to point out as I did in my clarifying texts that we have nothing to do with how the monies are displayed in all of Airbnb's invoices. I even went as far as to provide you with the Airbnb phone number so you could call yourself since my explanation wasn't good enough. Not even then did you understand. The cleaning fees will remain the same whether you book for 1 or any other amount of days. Everything was as transparent as could be. I agreed to the change of reservation without any additional cost but you neglected to understand that the price for a weekday is different from that of the weekends, you decided to stay the weekend and Airbnb's system adjusted your invoice to reflect the correct price. You still didn't understand. I found your review so disturbing myself that I personally went to inspect all your claims as a service to any other future guest and to improve their stay even more and I found the following to be as accurate and as factual as possible: a.- The floors did not have dust at all. Not on the corners, the baseboards or at the center of any room. There was no dust on the window sills either. I think you didn't take into consideration the fact that this building has been renovated and that because it sits in a historical area, many of it's original features such as the hardwood floors are still the original ones resurfaced throughout the years. The "scuffs" as you called them, are part of the original charm and by no means do they look dirty. The pictures posted in the listing reflect exactly how the floors look. b.- I'm sorry that you felt the house rules were too much as they are very simple and mostly common sense, yes, in the same email I also include "redundant listing information" and some personal recommendations that I believe could be useful to any and all types of travelers so they can pick and choose whats best for the experience they want. It is by no means intended to make any guest feel like a punished teenager. c.- I apologize for the single stain on the robe. It must have happened in my car while I transferred the cleaned sheets and robe to the apartment. I cannot fathom how someone would stress so much over this when with a simple phone call asking me for another robe would have solved the problem! The peculiar thing is that you picked up the phone to call me on Friday at 11:47pm, to be precise, to tell me that your parents had misplaced their glasses and because they couldn't see well they had jammed the door due to so many tries. Not only did I pick up the phone but I was graceful and diligent in understanding what they were going through and what you, as a daughter, were experiencing as well. In all fairness it would have been very ladylike of you to include the fact that I responded immediately at very late hours of the night to aid all of you due to your lack of explanation to your parents as to how the door was opened even after you claimed to have read in detail the house manual. d.- My towels are 100% cotton. They are not polyester or polyester mix. It's pure. Anytime you have pure cotton it will always have little lint which will fade after every wash. They dry amazingly, as no other fabric combination does. You should have also stated how your colorful pink and blue paint damaged 3 of them and I didn't charge or left a negative review for you because of this. I did take it as part of the "overall experience and big picture" which you seem to be blinded to. e.- The apartment is 1000 square feet. It can be big or small and so subjective to the guest's point of view. I list the beds that we have and how they are distributed in every room. It is a pity that some guests don't bother to read this. We list the apartment for 7 people and we outline the sleep set up. We do state that we can "squeeze in an 8th person" because for some people having one that is willing to sleep on the couch will work in their budget. We don't actively promote this; we simply mention it so people understand that we can and are willing to work with them. f.-The listing also mentions that you must move one night table in order to open either of the trundles. Thanks to your experience; we will now add the exact poundage that the guest has to lift in the listing so they can better assess if they can move it or not. f.- The mechanical key panel is as easy as it gets; however; if you took the time to read the house manual and didn't share with your parents how to use it and/or ensure that your elderly had the proper tools to read in the evening, which was the time of their arrival, of course, it would have been highly unlikely that they would have been able to get in! Thanks to you, we will now post a picture of the key panel in the listing pictures. g.- For all guests' safety and ours, we started requesting photo id's of all guests over 18 years of age in order to ensure that the same guests that book are the ones that will actually be coming into the unit. Unfortunately we lived through a very grey experience that we would not want to repeat. We're ok if any or all guests refuse to provide them, however; we also have a right to refuse their stay. This course of action is perfectly permitted by Airbnb and it is perfectly legal. We always gave you the opportunity to cancel the booking if you didn't didn't feel comfortable doing this. Thank you very much for having booked with us and I sincerely hope that next time you travel wherever you go, and no matter what the circumstances you can be more objective towards your overall experience and understand that the perfection you search for is not even found at 4 or 5 stars hotels. There will always be the human factor anywhere you go; and in the end, your review speaks more about your dossier than it does about the experience we offer. Respectfully; Annie

If you're a Cuban for fans of Cuban food and it's energy in the area this is prime location. Versailles and La Carreta. 8 Street and Flagler are near the Gables are there a stone throw. Two beds and great air-conditioning which is a must in Miami. Thanks Jsu
