Such a beautiful well designed little place. It's a shame we could only stay here for a night and not really be able to enjoy the place a bit longer. Candice was great with communication and keeping in touch. We loved the tiny house and would highly reccomend if you are looking for a quite spot away from the busy highway.

the tiny house is exactly what you would want and I actually really enjoyed the location. Anahuac has some very friendly and down-home spots, such as a winery, the ocean, several bars and restaurants a few minutes from the quiet suburb the tiny house is in.

Truly a tiny house, like a college dorm room with a bathroom attached. It was perfect for our purposes: a weekend getaway outside Houston. The house is a great crash pad for visitors aiming to spend most of their time outdoors. The space has pretty much everything you might want, from towels and sheets to a Keurig machine with coffee pods (so thoughtful!). The fenced-in yard makes you feel like you've got your own space. Candice's description is detailed and accurate. We didn't meet in person but she was very communicative via email/text. If I had to offer a negative point, the wifi is not that strong--but if you're coming here for the wifi, you're coming for the wrong reasons! Don't miss the Anahuac wildlife refuge just 20 minutes away; we're not birders, but even we enjoyed the birding. Be sure to bring binoculars. Candice also gave a good dinner recommendation, The Crawfish Place, which ironically is best-known for its (impressive) burgers. Thanks for a great getaway!

Stayed here for one quick night on a road trip to Austin. I was SO SAD I had to leave once I got there and saw how incredibly cute and comfortable the tiny house was! The pictures, while great, don't totally do it justice; it is so thoughtfully stocked and decorated! Candice left snacks and drinks for us, and since the tiny house is pet friendly, my kitten was welcome (and excited to explore all the nooks and crannies of the space). I highly recommend staying here- you will fall in love.

The location was a little farther out than I realized but not so far out that we didn't enjoy ourselves. Crystal Beach/Bolivar Peninsula is only 35-40 minutes away and the ferry rides to Galveston was the highlight of our trip. We even made a trip to Lake Charles for some Cajun food. My son loved the tiny house so much that he's now obsessed with them. We loved our stay and are so glad we stayed there!
