Elena's cozy flat was a perfect place to escape the crowds of Old Town and enjoy a neighborhood full of great food and drinks. Close to the subway and the main train station, it was easy to get around the city and hit all of the highlights.

Overall, I had an okay experience with Giulia as my host for the Cozy flat on Vinohardska. About my communication with Giulia --- I count three times that I had problems in connecting with her. First, when I tried to reserve the space, she let my request time out and we went back and forth trying to confirm my reservation. Second, when in the flat, we had questions regarding the wifi and fans. I had to send a second message to her to get her to reply. (To be fair, she did reply to me that she found herself away on holiday for the weekend). Last, on our departure, I asked Giulia to send us a cab. I did not receive her confirmation that the cab had been waiting outside for me until I sent Giulia a question about its arrival. About the experience of the flat --- My friend and I did not stay in the listed flat, 501. Similar to what another reviewer mentioned, Giulia's colleague, who gave us a tour of the building, told us that they had water/flooding problems with the listed flat. They gave us 402, another flat in the building. The apartment was big - two rooms, two bathrooms, a large living area, fully equipped kitchen. We did not have the balcony that you would find in the pictures for the 501 listing. We did not have AC in unit 402, and we really needed AC on two of the warmer days during our stay in the apartment. About the location of the flat --- a tram stop, a grocery store, and some watering holes dot the surrounding area of the flat. It's not as close as a 5 minutes away from Wenceslas Square. Rather, I timed it, and it takes about 15 minutes to get to the intersection to the Museum, which is the top of the hill of the Square. It takes another 8 to get to the Astrological clock in Old Town square. I mention the time it takes to walk because a 20+ minute (uphill) walk from Old Town Square back to the flat feels really long after a three hour tour. Again, Giulia, on the whole, treated me well. The 402 flat needs AC, and you'll walk longer than expected to get to the square if you stay at this spacious, clean, comfortable apartment.

Four days before our arrival we were informed by Giulia that there was a problem with the heater tank or similar, causing a problem with hot water in the apartment we had booked. She offered to accommodate us in two other flats she apparently owns, in the same building. Both apartments were really big and nice, especially the second one with three bed rooms and a balcony. There was some minor wear and tear in some of the furniture but overall very comfy and practical places for a group to stay in a killer location! I want to thank Giulia for being straight and honest about the water heater problem and providing a great alternative in the form of two big apartments with no extra cost.

The apartment was perfect! The location was exactly what we've searched for, the pictures are exactly what you can expect. Giulia welcomed us very friendly and we felt at home immediately! The first night Giulias booking office unfortunately made a mistake by giving us the wrong apartment, but the next day by noon we were able to change to the booked one. As an apology Giulia gave us a bottle of Sparkling Wine and the difference of the amount! Very generous of her!! For sure we recommend the apartment and Giulia!!!! Thanks again for everything!! We gladly will come back!
