The yard and landscaping was beautiful, the furniture was perfect for me. I enjoyed my 3 months here. The bed was comfortable, nice big dresser to put my clothes in. The bathroom had good space between the over toilet storage and medicine cabinet. The kitchen was well equipped with microwave, oven and stove. Full sized fridge. The couch was comfy and the TV was great had a lot of special channels like HBO and other movie channels. Great WiFi connection. Only thing I did not like is she did stop by a couple times without advance notice and entered the property at least once without notice or permission, I knew because when I returned hime things were moved. I would definitely book here again, it was a perfect home away from home while I was in Austin for work. My dog enjoyed running around the yard.

Response from Tressa:
Breanna, my apologies. unfortunately the internet modem was located in that unit and we had to check the connections one time. As I also explained, we were attempting to switch out the kitchen table but I did not intend for my worker to go inside to pick it up that right then but apparently the instructions were lost in translation. that would explain things being moved, like the items on the kitchen table. There are all sorts of situations that may arise that would require a landlord to enter the leased property at reasonable times without first attempting to contact the tenant for any reasonable purpose, including repairs, maintenance alterations , such as was the case here.

I spent almost 2 months in Tressa's apartments and it was great. Nice duplex divided into 2 parts, all appliances, very close to a bus station (approximately 15 min to a downtown riding bus number 4). The place is secured and comfortable for staying.

Tressa's place was a blessing when we were in a bind to find a longer rental while waiting to move into our house. She welcomed us with a gift basket, wine, and a beautiful poinsettia and had plenty of pillows and towels for us. The DirectTV was awesome, as was the yard for my dog. This little house was a wonderful longer term stay for us with easy access to downtown-feel lucky to have found it!

Tressa was super easy to communicate with and very welcoming to both me and my dog. This is the perfect place to stay when visiting Austin! Can't wait to come back.

The cottage was perfect as a temporary home while getting settled after my move to Austin. Just enough space and plenty of yard for my dog. Very accommodating and dog friendly!

I was in Austin for a week, as a single person, to take in the music and dance scene and the cottage was PERFECT. It’s plenty big enough but has a nice, cozy feel and pretty much everything is brand new and very comfortable, including the bed. There are several windows that flood the place with sunlight if you pull the curtains. The unit is well-provisioned (kitchen stuff, coffee maker, hair-dryer, blankets, etc.) but what was really nice was finding a bottle of wine and bunch of extras in the fridge – breakfast goodies, milk, coffee, cream, a bag of ice, etc. – although this had to be because I was staying for a week (I can’t believe shorter stays would get this kind of treatment). The towels and linens were of unusually high quality, which I especially appreciate. The cable TV has an unusually large selection of good movie channels – check out the range from 501-570. The neighborhood, Montopolis, is clean, safe and quiet - - solid working class in the beginning stages of gentrification. I thought the location might actually be a little loud, as it’s conveniently close to the airport, but that wasn’t a problem at all. The only heads up I would give is if you’re a light sleeper,,, the power supply for the heating/cooling units is right outside the bedroom window and it cycles on on and off throughout the night. But overall, I REALLY liked the place and would definitely stay there again – it’s got it all, in a good location at a reasonable price! Both the owner, Sherrie, and her assistant (it was nice to have 2 people to call!) were good people, helpful and responsive to my requests.
