This is one of the few places in the area with free parking.
Based in beautiful Perthshire, in Birnam across the bridge from Dunkeld. Just off the A9 so perfect to break your journey. Walking distance from the train station, bus stop & local shops/pubs/arts centre/restaurants/swimming pool and the famous Birnam Oak on the river Tay.
We have beautiful walks and cycle routes in this area and plenty to see and do - come and enjoy all the beautiful spots that Birnam has to offer.

The space
You will have our home to yourselves as availability is for when we are away. There are a few steps leading to the front door but otherwise our house is all on one level. You will have use of the main bedroom with king-size bed and small en-suite. Please make yourselves at home and enjoy use of the lounge, kitchen, dining room, main bathroom and garden. We have a private driveway so your car will be safely off the road. We are happy to accommodate extra guests on request.

Other things to note
This is a beautiful area for exploring & enjoying a variety of outdoor activities. We can advise you on lovely local walks & where to go/what to see during your visit.

Neighbourhood highlights

Our home is in a quiet family neighbourhood on the South side of Birnam. The adjoining towns of Dunkeld and Birnam lie on opposite sides of the river Tay - close to our house. This is a beautiful and peaceful area, with a great choice of walks and bike rides in breathtaking surroundings. Dunkeld and Birnam also have a dynamic community with a lively arts and music scene, great restaurants and bars, quality independent shops and galleries and regular concerts and productions showing at the local Arts Centre.

We love the outdoors, walking, cycling, wild camping. We live in a beautiful area – surrounded by beautiful hills and forest walks – so we’re happy that we can share this with our guests. We love to travel. We both work in education – so our holidays give us the opportunity to have adventures, explore and meet new people. We have been lucky during our own travels - meeting wonderful and kind people and having special experiences. Hosting means that we can return this hospitality.
