Serenity, a light-filled tiny house, is perfect for a week or weekend away. It's approximately 300 square feet, has a full kitchen and bath, two lofts to accommodate guests (one of which is a TV lounge), and wifi. It's close to Circuit of the Americas race track & the airport which is convenient if you'll be forgoing a rental car in favor of Uber or RideAustin, and it's only a 15-20 minute drive to downtown Austin and the South Congress area. Experience life in a tiny house & enjoy your visit!

The space

Serenity is painted in soothing greys and has lots of doors and windows to let in the sun. Both the master loft bed and the futon in the guest loft are full/double beds. There are stairs to the master loft and a metal rung ladder to the TV lounge. There is a shower and a tub in the bathroom and a composting toilet for which instructions will be left so guests don't get confused (it's a bit different than a regular toilet!). In the kitchen you'll find a convection toaster oven, two induction burners, a blender, cookware, food processor and fridge in addition to all the typical kitchen necessities. We live in Serenity when we're not traveling so everything you need will be there!

Guest access

In addition to having run of the whole house (we only rent it out on AirBnB when we are out of town), there is also a rustic picnic area outside and a laundry room on site. Serenity has a washer, but if you're in too much of a hurry to line dry, you're free to use the dryer in the laundry room that is shared between two other tiny houses on the property.

Interaction with guests

We only rent out Serenity on AirBnB when we are travelling, so you'll have the place to yourself! But if you do have question or need anything during your stay, we'll be happy to help!

Other things to note

Serenity is on a property with a conventional home, another tiny house, and a converted school bus, all of which have permanent tenants. There are also dogs that live in the neighborhood behind the property that occasionally come say hi. They are friendly but like to steal shoes, so take shoes inside with you.

Cute little place! I enjoyed my weekend getaway thoroughly. Everything was accurately depicted, with great working amenities. Compost toilet isn't too bad, so don't let that put you off!

My husband and I stayed at Alisha's tiny home for two nights. The listing was very accurate and the home was just as pictured. Alisha was very responsive and kind and was also willing to provide recommendations should we need them. It was a lot of fun to stay in a tiny home and see how they creatively maximized their space. The instructions left were clear and thorough and we didn't have any issues figuring out the composting toilet. For a tiny home, the kitchen is actually quite spacious. There's not a lot in the immediate vicinity of the home, but you can be into Austin within about 15 to 20 minutes by car, so it's a workable location.

Good location and good experience for my first tiny house. Only thing is there's a problem with nats and saw 3 spiders on the ceiling in my 2 night stay.

We booked the place for a tiny house experience on our trip and we got everything that was to be expected and more- a very well equipped house and great reads. The tiny house is in the midst of a lot of greenery and alternatives. The experience is one of a kind, the place has great amenities. We enjoyed the space and it prepared us for the rest of our travels in Texas and beyond. The house felt welcoming and the hosts had left very detailed instructions on everything. We would recommend for anyone interested in the tiny house movement.

The house is super cute and defitnitley has that home-y vibe and it's also very intimate. We really enjoyed our stay. The only issue was the restroom which I guess we should've taken into consideration but we never really thought much about it. The house isn't far from downtown or anything. Very close to Mckinney Falls which was beautiful and convenient. Ms. Alisha responded quickly to our texts and handled any issues immidietly. She provides the basic amenities and toiletries. It's was lovely but we probably wouldn't stay again due to the restroom issue which is a shame but it was very nice.

Response from Alisha:
The house has a composting toilet, which is mentioned in the listing and detailed instructions on how to properly use it are provided at check-in. But I'm glad you otherwise enjoyed your stay.
