Please only book if you read and agreed to the house rules! Great location in the heart of Heidelberg BUT it's on the ground floor in a small alley (no sunlight).
140cm double bed, small kitchen, dvd/tv. Please look at the photos and read the COMPLETE text (if sensible to humidity it might not be the right place). All sights within walking distance. Supermarket, bars and restaurants close by. Check-in after 4 pm!

The space
The apartment is located in the rear alley, so it is not very bright. Although it's been renovated and profesionally been dried up if you are sensible to humidity maybe you shouldn't book here. Also, there is a student corps next door. If they are quiet it's very quiet but if they party it can be annoyingly loud. Unfortunately this is very unpredictable.
The apartment is very small and not suitable for kids.

In case of a fire you can either leave the building through the hallway or you can take the 2nd fire escape through the front apartment. There is a door which can only be opened in an emergency. An alarm will be triggered once you press the doorknob. So please keep this door clear at all times - it is for your own safety;)

Due to the loacation close to the river and water is also coming from Königsstuhl humidity is a problem. Therefore this apartment needs a bit more attention. There are two dehumidfiers in the bedroom. They should always be on when you are not in the apartment (if you don't mind also when you are there) and also be switched on before check-out. Also, after having a shower you should wipe the floor to help it dry up faster and also open the front door for the steam to evaporate. I know it's inconvenient but please book another place if you are not prepared to do this. I totally understand if one doesn't like to look after stuff like this while on holiday but this is unfortunately quite important to preserve the building structure. So this is part of the house rules.
No bicycles inside the apartment.

Other things to note
Parking is a nightmare but in the check-in-information is a description how to get to a residential area where you park for free (25 minutes to walk back to the apartment - along the river so it's very nice.
Behind the wall is a student corps who sometimes are very noisy. It's very unpredictable an can be quite annoying. Otherwise it's very quiet.
Please note that the doors can't be opened if the key is in the lock. The locksmith costs 300 Euro. So try not to forget the key in the apartment;)
