It was absolutely wonderful to stay with Aimee and her family! They were sincerely kind and welcoming, and their house and land are so peaceful. We woke up to a stunning view of the sunrise over the mountains, followed by a little yoga (Aimee has a yoga studio attached to the house!) and a delicious breakfast. You can explore beautiful trails right out their back door, and the neighboring towns are quintessential Vermont. We stayed in the main house and had our own space but they also welcomed us into their family - it was the perfect balance. They also have an adorable cabin up the hill that is more secluded, with an even better view of the mountains! We really enjoyed everything about our stay and I highly recommend to anyone looking for a little peace.

GORGEOUS view. Super comfy bed and nice people. A real gem. Fun to do yoga onsite. My 11 year old son loved feeding the fish.

I could not have asked for a more delightful stay. Aimee and Rich are such beautiful people and gracious hosts. You will immediately feel welcome into their home and if you wish, their life. They invited me along to a local music show which was very generous. I would recommend their home to anyone looking for a scenic, relaxing experience of the Vermont countryside. Their home is old and beautiful, and the breakfasts were great. I'm the kind of person who likes to be in someone's home, and not just have a place to sleep. If you're that kind of person, this is the place for you. 10/10 would recommend.

My husband Rich and I have recently begun homesteading in rural Vermont after many years working in wildlife conservation in Central Africa. He is a wildlife biologist/conservationist and I am a graphic designer, interpreter, and yoga teacher. We love rural Vermont and are delighted to be able to introduce our new son to the wonders of vegetable gardens, fruit picking and ducks.
We also get a huge kick out of hosting guests at our farmhouse or in the retreat cabin in the meadow. Meeting fellow travelers is one of the great joys of living where we do and working with Air B & B. We are generally happiest around a camp fire, in a tent or a canoe, or taking a dip in the duck pond with our lovely boy. We look forward to meeting you soon!
