This quiet, clean, quality two bedroom, two bath Spanish style home is in the trendy Normal Heights area, just 1 block from Adams Ave. Just a few minutes walk to the grocery store, restaurants, bars and more. This is a 2nd home on a large lot and has direct access via the alley with 2 parking places and remote controlled gate. Large, shared (with family living in front house), fenced yard with play area and even a Treehouse!

The space
Smart TV so you can log in to your own Amazon, Netflix, HULU, etc. accounts. HDTV antenna for local channels. Note: If you have small children we can easily accommodate 5. Just ask before booking. A Pack and Play (crib) and small air mattress are available if needed.

Guest access
Convenient to all the San Diego attractions. 10 minutes to the famous San Diego Zoo and Balboa Park. Less than 15 minutes to the airport, downtown and Sea World. 20 minutes to most all of the key beaches. Bus Lines run on Adams Ave. Uber is very reasonable in San Diego. Access to the property is via the alley. On self checking in, there will be a remote for the gate.

Other things to note
Coffee pot, tea kettle, toaster, ironing board and iron. Ceiling fans in all rooms. Beach towels are available for your use.
The bathtub in the hall bathroom has been modified to allow easy access for someone with a disability. - please see picture. Tub can only be filled to about three inches for young children. There is a shower in this tub.
This home, like most older San Diego homes, does not have air conditioning. There are ceiling fans in both bedrooms, the living room and the kitchen. There are also two box fans if needed.

We have been married 40 years and have 15 grandchildren. We are both retired executives that enjoy life and love to travel. We have done a lot of global travel and have been to all seven continents. Our son, his wife and three grandchildren live in the front house. We live at our lake home most of the year, but winter in San Diego at this house.
