Newly refurbished// The listing is ideal for a couple looking for a getaway near the ocean. It is close to West Wittering beach, has many coastal walks, numerous family activities, pubs and restaurants. You’ll love my place because of the location, its secluded private garden and short walk to the beach (5 minutes).

The space
The 'Annex' is a very secluded place to stay. Upon entering 'Spindles', there is a reserved parking bay then a path leads you into its private garden through a wooden gate. The accommodation consists of a bedroom (a king-sized bed) and en-suite, a lounge/diner/kitchen with cooker/fridge/washing machine and a TV.

This beautiful property is ideally located for many reasons. The beach: West Wittering beach is one of the finest in the country and only a short walk away (5 minutes). The part of the beach closest to this property benefits from being quiet even in the height of summer. At the far end of the beach lies East Head – this is a sand and shingle spit owned by the National Trust, and makes for an excellent walk. Various coastal walks: there are many walks from ‘Spindles’ and, one of my favourites, is the footpath alongside Chichester Harbour. A photocopied sheet shows this and other alternatives. Other walks: there are numerous walks close to Chichester. The shops: there are a wide selection of shops only ½ mile from ‘Spindles’ offering many amenities – including fishmonger, butcher and several cafes. City of Chichester : this is approximately 6 miles (10 km) north of ‘Spindles Annex’ and provides a wide range of restaurants, bars, shops and an amazing theatre. Also Chichester has a beautiful cathedral. Goodwood: ‘Spindles Annex’ is very well situated for those wishing to go to Goodwood racecourse or Goodwood car events.

I have been at Spindles, West Wittering for over 20 years with my children. We are so lucky living here with the beautiful walks and beach nearby. I enjoy playing tennis, walking, running and having a well-earned pint!
