Joe, thanks for your feedback and filling in any gaps in the listing info for other prospective guests and readers of your input. It sounds like your goals of flying into Orlando, renting a car, and attending a wedding nearly were not suitable for the property, and had we known, we would have quickly steered you away and directed you to one of the local hotels. Your comment about "a trailer park in a swamp" is interesting, particularly considering that you flew in from Virginia. It is definitely in the swamp (the Withlacoochee River is one of the largest in the state and prized among the outdoors oriented). There are some 'mobile homes' in the neighborhood, but our guests seem to comment on their appreciation of the privacy and our cute renovation. We are definitely aware of the housekeeping issues and withdrew the listing a few weeks ago because of it. We own a dozen rentals in Blue Ridge, Georgia, where we live close by an maintain impeccable housekeeping standards. We enjoy this property ourselves from time to time (particularly in the winter) and will not put it back on the market until we are satisfied with the housekeeping. We will also make sure in the description that we mention the trailer park aspect, along with the fact it's in the swamp. Some love that, but others don't.
