Our place is close to the famous Westbay, where Broadchurch is filmed. Good bus transport from Westbay along the coast to Exeter or Poole. We always offer a warm and friendly welcome to our guests.. Good for couples and solo adventurers. But we do have a dropside wooden cot with bedding for babies. Continental breakfast will be available in the farmhouse style kitchen.

A very welcoming couple, indeed. No TV at the moment, so we spent the evenings out and about, which in itself is not a bad thing! The shared bathroom was not an issue, though we had feared it might be. They do have an annex with an en-suite if preferred. Altogether, an enjoyable stay.

Lovely room placed ideally between West Bay and Bridport, allowing us to explore the coastal views and beaches around but also with the convenience of popping in to a larger town! Marcia was a great host, very warm and welcoming and full of advice and suggestions about the local area.

Lovely to meet you both Will. I hope Holly's parents and Grandmother arrived safely and that you enjoyed your lunch together. No more nosebleeds I hope!

Marcia and Bob are a fantastic hosts. We spend lovely time with them. We're sorry it was so short. Their house is big, well furnished and about ten minutes walking to coast. We hope we come back anytime. Highly recommend!

Thanks Jiri. It was a pleasure to meet you both. I do hope you can come again one day. Hopefully you will be less rushed then, and you can enjoy dear Dorset a bit more.

Marcia and Bob are fantastic hosts! They made sure every aspect of our stay was amazing. They provided us with wonderful information about the area and went above and beyond making sure our stay was the best it could be. When we return to West Bay for our next trip we will absolutely be staying here again!

Oh thankyou Matt, for such a lovely message. You were pretty fantastic yourselves! Incidentally, the kids loved their Pass the Rock game. Thanks so much for helping with that - I don't know what I would have done without you!! Look forward to your next trip.....you'd better start saving!

Kevin & Sabine Marcia and Bob are an charming, nice pensioner couple. We felt very well cared for here. We were welcomed with afternoon tea in the garden and were equally very easy in a nice conversation. The two gave us good advice on what you can and should see in and around Westbay. We would choose this place again. Kevin & Sabine

Married to Bob. Four grand-sons in the town where we live, and avery special grand-daughter in Bristol, so we are keen to look for possible B&B to use regularly in Bristol - a city we love. Bob used to work for Bristol University while I was a Junior Teacher. I was a "£10pom" in Australia back in the early 70s., which I loved. Now a very contented Dorset oldie, enjoying swimming, cycling and for resting time, making Dorset Buttons, and painting or enjoying our local theatres. We have lived around Bridport for many years and can direct you to all the good spots. It really is one of the best places in the Uk (we think - but maybe we are biased!!)
I like to use my bike to get around. but not really long bike rides now-adays!! We also have a lovely old lurcher dog.
We are new to Airbnb, but very much look forward to welcoming you all, and introducing you to our lovely county,
