Clarissa's flat is well located near a station with lots of connections, local buses and walking distance from many cafes, restaurants, shops and interesting areas. It's very clean, in a quiet and secure complex, comfortable and full of individual personal style. My partner spent…
The apartment was lovely with very interesting decor. It was also very clean and well equipped. The coffee machine didn’t really work and the door is very tricky so small downsides to our stay. The location was also not very nice as the station and area are quite dodgy, and one o…

As seen on the reviews here, I ve been renting the flat many many times and never had that kind of feedback . People didn t feel that way, because they understood the concept of respecting the belongings. Touching is something but not putting it back correctly is really different. I think that wishing that when i come back home, my furnitures are at their place, my books are not lying down when they were standing on a shelf, asking for my lamps not to be all crooked , maybe to have half a toilet paper roll left and not to have to pick up dirty tissues between furnitures , is quite acceptable expectation. Not knowing that wood furnitures don t like water ( speaking about a wet towel let on it for many hours, not speaking about drops while cooking ) , and that red wine makes unwashable stains is not of my responsability. The door is a bit tricky ( you have to pull the door while opening with the key ) but it s a commun thing and from all the people who rented the flat, I never recieved a panic message asking me how to do it. About the district , it s written in the flat announce that there are clubs around , and Friedrichshain is written about all over the internet , so we can easily have a preview and see if it correspond to our holiday wishes. I m very sorry you experienced racism in the street , but this could have happened in any street or city and I guess that by checking our flat it s quite obvious that we are antiracists militants and we wouldn t live in this district if it was known as a racist district, as some districts in Berlin are known for. I think all people who stayed by us didn t feel tensed and unrelaxed , and we were until now really relaxed and trusting hosts. Clearly not anymore
Clarissa was a fantastic host, she was very amenable we were able to collect the keys one day prior to our stay. The apartment was very clean, with a modern bathroom & kitchen. It was perfectly located within an easy walking distance to a local supermarket, & the train station wa…
Very clean home. Especially the newly renovated bathroom is really a treat. Close to restaurants, public transport and nightlife, yet quiet. Everything as described. The only thing that differs from the description is that the apartment is very dark, while it appears bright on th…

I m sorry you felt the flat as dark , it looks like Berlin suffered from a really bad weather when you came. Of course a ground floor can t be as lighty as a 5th floor flat but as we see on the pictures ( which were taken in March, so not the most sunny days in Berlin) we enjoy a nice light usually.
