Guest had a negative attitude from arrival, we did our best to try to work with them and offer solutions, but none of our solutions were good enough for them. The furniture is all brand new and the building itself has been renovated in the past 2 years, so stating that it is old is completely inaccurate. The view of downtown Winnipeg is accurate, the photo in the listing is taken of our balcony. When the guest states that the unit is not close to downtown, this shows they did not read the listing whatsoever as it states in the listing that the unit is 10-20 minute drive to downtown depending on traffic. This person messaged outside of the airbnb platform some rude comments, they indicated that they want to be refunded their entire stay even though they had already been given the option to check out and get a refund since they were unhappy and it didn't seem like anything we did would make them happy. After staying the first night, they expected they would just get a full refund, which is not something we or anyone would do as there are costs associated with every reservation. As you can see from our other reviews, this guest is a rarity who had expectations beyond what airbnb offers. After posting my review of the disaster state they left our unit in (I wish I could show photos on this review response), they sent harassing messages to me via text message and didn't stop even when told to stop or I would be contacting police. Judge for yourself, but this was the very negative experience we had with this guest. We hope that other guests will see through the fabrications of their review.
