Where you’ll be

Litton, England, United Kingdom

With a village green, old stone monument and stocks, Litton is described as 'a little gem of a White Peak village, set in glorious countryside'.

Just a few strides up the road from The Cotton Loft, which is located in the center of the village, is the local village pub The Red Lion, a fine old inn serving real cask ales and an excellent choice of food. Well-dressing is in late June each year, and is well worth a visit.

The market town of Bakewell (famous for it's pudding's) is 7 miles away, the Spa town of Buxton is 9 miles, and the stately homes of Chatsworth House (9 miles) and Haddon Hall (10 miles) are both within easy reach.

The Peak District has many lovely pubs and restaurant's, where fab food and real ales can be enjoyed in relaxed, cosy settings. The scenery is spectacular, and after a day exploring in the fresh air, head back to your snug retreat at the Cotton Loft, to chill out and relax!

Hi,
First of all, can we say 'thanks' for taking the time to view our listing! We're a big believer in trying to get things just right for our guests, and adopt the policy of 'what would we expect if we stayed somewhere?' We appreciate that money is hard-earned and our holiday's, be they long or short, are really precious! We love travelling ourselves, especially city breaks and exploring holidays, although do quite like the occasional lie on a sunny beach somewhere! Steve loves playing golf whenever he can and, as we're both sociable people, we enjoy eating out, spending time with family and friends, meeting new people and going for long walks with our little schnoodle Charlie!
Thanks again for viewing our listing, and we hope to welcome you soon.
