A massive, light-filled and luxuriously appointed family home with multiple living spaces and a stunning roof terrace. Featured in 'The Block', 'Postcards', 'Mansion' and 'Vogue Living', this home is beautifully furnished and more like a luxury hotel than a house - but with more space and character. It's only a ten minute ride to the CBD and a five minute walk to buzzy Brunswick Street. This home is a grand but comfortable family base to explore funky, inner-city Melbourne. Easy street parking.
This is a unique, art-filled family home of large, but cosily appointed living (3) and bedrooms (4) and vistas of the city skyline, parks, tree tops, nearby roofs, distant spires and historic landmarks. In summer, the large garden terrace filled with roses just off the master bedroom suite with its stunning skyline views acts as a fourth living area. It's perfect for morning coffee, quiet reading and is furnished with dining for eight and with a BBQ for evening meals. It's an ideal setting for small wedding celebrations. As are the other reception rooms in the house.
Entry to the house is via a grand, marbled floor hallway which leads to a stately breakfast room and a large, fully equipped kitchen (induction hob, double oven, 2 drawer dishwasher, garbage disposal) which looks out to small pond and fountain. The laundry (washer/dryer) and a powder room also lead off the hallway. The rear of this floor houses two interconnected, grand, but casually comfortable, living rooms with multiple soft couches and armchairs for lounging, an open fire and a grand piano all sitting on dark, hardwood floors.
The main staircase leads to the second floor which houses two large bedrooms and one small one. A large bathroom with double sink and large tub and overhead shower services this floor.
The third level, accessed by another set of stairs, is occupied entirely by the master suite (with TV, bar fridge, kettle, microwave, AC ), bathroom (double sink and double shower) and opens to the spectacular and completely private roof terrace with its skyline views perfect for watching city fireworks at festival times.
The entire house is free for visitors to use except for one room that is kept for the owner's storage and a dressing room off the master suite.
Note that bedroom 4 is the smallest bedroom and now has a queen size bed in it rather than the single bed shown in the photograph above. The single bed shown can be replaced for a child for visitors interested in a long term stay.
The cleaning charge is applicable weekly or once only for stays shorter than seven nights.
Dresser drawers in three large bedrooms are available for storage and clothes racks for hanging in all bedrooms.

Other things to note
This is a three level house with no elevator. The large bedroom (2) on level 2 has a queen bed and a large, classic Knoll sectional sofa which is sprung for sleeping and comprises two single beds long enough for the tallest people.
A surfeit of games and toys are available for your use for families with kids and a fold down table tennis table can be accommodated in bedroom (2) if requested.
Respect our neighbours with regards to noise, no high heels on wooden floors.
