This sunny, cozy apartment with Japanese accents is on a quiet street between Davis Square, Somerville and Porter Square, Cambridge. Easy walking distance to restaurants, shops, nightlife, groceries, public transportation, and the Minute Man Bikeway. And yes, there is a six-foot grand piano in the living room. Best for music lovers, couples, solo adventurers, and business travelers.
The living room offers a cozy places to curl up with a book, a table to work at, and a piano to rock your Rach 3. The full kitchen has everything you need to fix yourself a meal. There is a large screened-in back porch for lounging and enjoying the breeze. The bedroom is a peaceful oasis, unadorned except for a Japanese-style natural latex bed on the floor.
The entire apartment is yours to enjoy, including the large back porch. The only off-limits area is a closet where we keep personal belongings.
Interaction with guests
We will be available via phone and email during your stay.
Other things to note
A delightful young family lives upstairs so you can expect quiet nights, but some audible activity usually around 6 am if they're in town.
One of our reviews mentions that "the blinds are not opaque." Just to clarify, the blinds do let in light but do not allow people to see into the apartment.
We ask that you please take your shoes off in the house.
Please—very important—do not place any beverages on the piano.
