Situated in one of Stirling’s most picturesque Victorian suburbs amid broad tree lined avenues with views to the Old Town skyline, Castleview, a Victorian Villa built in the 1880s, was recently refurbished, but still retains it’s original, stylish character.
Comfort is high on the list at Castleview, with a spacious drawing room with open fire to relax in or the separate Sitting Room perfect for some quiet TV time for the children. The beautifully atmospheric Dining Room, which seats 12, is large and accommodating with front of house views north toward the Castle.
The kitchen is fully equipped with dishwasher, microwave, gas AGA range cooker with electric oven, indoor BBQ , i Pod docking station and a fantastic free standing central island ; all in all cooking in this kitchen will certainly be a very enjoyable affair!
Three of the bedrooms are en suite with an additional two shared bathrooms and separate downstairs WC. The Master bedroom has the added benefit of an adjoining dressing room which also has a single bed and space for a travel cot making it ideal for a young family.
The original Billiard Room provides a great room equipped with Billiard table, board games, books and a separate downstairs television room has Freeview TV and a selection of DVDs and videos. The rear south facing garden contains a climbing frame with swings, various outdoor toys, a kickabout area, and a large south facing sun terrace with BBQ and garden furniture.
Castleview is a holiday house equally popular with families, adult groups, weddings and other special occasions such as a special birthday. This fine old family home is now available for self-catering holidays throughout the year, and is most suited for relaxed family life. Children are well provided for with plenty to do, and all ages will enjoy the local area particularly the large ‘Square’ in front of the property which was once a fenced in private garden for all residents of Victoria Square.

Any breakages or damage must be reported as soon as possible in order that this can be addressed prior to the arrival of the next guests. The cost of any damage will be deducted from the £800 security deposit. Please note that Airbnb will take the £800 security deposit on booking Inventory items may NOT be removed from the property. This includes linen and towels. There is a strict no smoking policy anywhere inside the property. No pets are allowed.
