My place is great for those who want to spend their days exploring the wonders of the Blue Mountains and their evenings relaxing in comfort, either drinking wine on the balcony in the tree tops, recharging in the 10 person hot tub or rugged up on the cosy couch.
There is lots of space for a group of friends or a family to be together but to also enjoy some silent time on their own.
Close to lots of walk and Blackheath Village but with loads of privacy and bush views.
We love our house in Blackheath. We spend our time here hiking, relaxing and eating well.
Our house in Blackheath has three bedrooms with queen size beds and good storage for your clothes. There are two bedrooms downstairs and one upstairs.
The downstairs bedrooms share a balcony that looks out over the valley. Note there is no railing on the low balcony and so we don't recommend our place for young children.
There is also a bathroom with a shower, toilet and laundry downstairs. We have a dryer and an outdoor clothes line depending on your preference.
The master bedroom upstairs has large north facing windows and is at the rear of the house next to the main bathroom with a shower and bath tub.
The open living space, dinning and kitchen looks out over the valley with wonderful sunset views. The space is perfect for up to six adults or a family.
We offer a large TV with access to netflix and Stan. You can watch anything on our Itunes account.
We have gas central heating for the winter. The place warms up in just a couple of minutes and is so cosy. No need to tend a fire over night.
There is lots of outdoor space to hang out and chat, read books or just do nothing.
We offer a 10 person hot tub for your use. But we do ask that you consider the neighbours and keep the noise down as this is a lovely quiet local street.
Why we recommend that our place is not for young children
The yard is not fenced in
The downstairs balcony is not closed in (2 feet off the ground)
There are 50 steps from the car park to the front door (lots of steps if you have to carry your kids and all their things)
The furniture and fabrics are expensive
NOTE: There are 50 steps up to the house. If you are injured or have mobility issues then the access will be difficult.
The entire house is yours.
Interaction with guests
If you need anything I am phone call away.
Other things to note
If you want to use the hot tub, which we suggest you do, we ask that you put the lid back on when you leave and add some cleaning chemicals to keep it in perfect health. We will give you instructions after booking.
- No shoes in the house
- Suitable for children of school age but not recommended for younger children
- No outside gatherings after 10pm
Lovely to meet you. I live between Dee Why Beach and the Blue Mountains with my husband Hamish.
We love to spend our time outdoors hiking, surfing or just relaxing.
We would love to host you at our little apartment in Dee Why which is filled with art and music. Or at our 3 bedroom house in the Blue Mountains which is high up in the trees with magic views.
We love to travel but right now our favourite place in the world to be is exactly where we live.
