"I stayed with three friends while visiting D.C. for the weekend. The apartment is in the basement of a lovely house and the neighborhood is absolutely adorable. It was easy to walk to the Metro to get into downtown D.C., and the apartment was well furnished with enough room for all of us to stay.....and everything there went smoothly. There was plenty of street parking for us to use after we drove in, even though it was a busy weekend DC." "We had a great time and loved the place. We met Miguel, and he was such a gentleman, you are lucky people! The location was great, only 10 min walk to the Metro. Safe and family oriented. We appreciated the new and comfy towels, the coffee and treats and my children loved the park! We had breakfast every morning out in the backyard table and loved it! Thank you so much!!!"

"The place is very nice. It's essentially a mini-apartment underneath the house proper, and it has everything you need. Modern and new furnishings, bathroom and so on. The location is great, just a short walk to the Metro, CUA, CVS, 7-11." (Sep 22-26, 2016)
"Quiet neighborhood and very quiet lodging below the main house owned by the owner. Everything was as described, and although the weather in DC was hot and humid, the AC and humidifier made the stay very comfortable. Although we did not use the kitchen other than coffee, it was adequate to cook a full meal with a good size table in the main room. Bathroom large with a comfortable walk in shower. My wife and I are in our 70's, but their is adequate space for a larger group with access to a large back yard. Plenty of street parking. Felt very safe in the neighborhood." (Jun 23-28, 2016)
"Our stay was absolutely lovely! The location is very convenient and the neighborhood is very welcoming. The studio itself is quite charming and it was very clean. We were three people staying and it was the perfect amount of space and we were able to make great dinners and breakfasts in the kitchen to cut some of our travel costs. Plus all the pipes for the house above run through the bathroom making for an absolutely delightful shower experience in the winter! You can hear a bit from the people in the house above but it is nothing more than footsteps. It just added to the homey feeling for us. I would certainly stay here again next time I come through DC." Chi Chi and Tem are people lovers and globetrotters. We met and tied the knot in Cape Town, South Africa and have explored over 25 countries in Africa, Asia, Europe and South America together. As hosts and frequent AirBnB users, we care about details and enjoy venturing into metropolitan and remote areas for a good meal. Our daughter and son keep us busy but we stay mellow frequenting jazz and music festivals plus comedy shows whenever possible. We look forward to your stay and welcome any feedback.
