This place is FANTASTIC! If you are looking for a genuine Montana experience you just can't miss it here... The road is rough at times and you need a car that sits up high to get there... but it is s(PHONE NUMBER HIDDEN) well worth it. Cheryl serves a hearty breakfast at 8 every morning and serves dinner too if you are there and not seeing Yellowstone.. We are vegetarians and she was very gracious about our needs. The cabin was warm and comfortable.. If we ever get up this way again we will definately stay here!!

A lovely quiet lodge just outside of Yellowstone, what more could you want? A fantastic experience!

This is a little gem! The drive up the mountain is everything Cheryl warns about and worth every twisty turn and rocky bump in the road! The silence and solitude at the top is priceless, the views are stunning and the log cabin we stayed in was quaint, clean and cozy. We had wonderful meals and great conversations with guests from Australia and Japan. Cheryl works really hard to provide an outstanding experience and I would love to go back and stay for more than one night!

This is a very steep and climb to the top. I also recommend a 4x4 for the drive and to only do it during the daytime. Once at the top, the views are incredible and Cheryl is a welcoming host. Use (SENSITIVE CONTENTS HIDDEN) Maps (or something similar) in advance to plan your drive time for your itinerary.

This is a very special place to stay outside of Yellowstone Park. The setting is pretty magical and different. This is the kind of place that takes you off the beaten path and gives you a different experience from the places down in Gardiner. It's important to know that it's about a 30 min drive up a mountainside overlooking Gardiner. It's well worth it when you get up there. Cheryl welcomes you and depending on the time of day will offer you a meal. It's a place where you will meet other travelers and sit around a bonfire each night getting to know them. Each morning Cheryl provides a home cooked meal and if you get back at night from the park around 6 she also provides dinner. It's a rustic place, nothing fancy but has what you need. The views overlooking yellowstone are very cool.

It is worth the drive up to the mountain. Cheryl is a great cook and host. She lended us an elaborate Yellowstone travel guide which helped us plan our Yellowstone destinations. She also made sure we were comfortable by moving us to a bigger cabin before we reached.

Cheryl and her mountain top are one of a kind. It takes an SUV or 4-wheel drive to get there, but once you are there, you don't regret the drive up. Although I would not say everyone would enjoy this place--I feel like it was the highlight of my trip. Fabulous cooking. Fabulous views. A beautiful soul hosting a unique spot in Montana. I will be returning for sure.
