The spacious Victorian Penthouse is on the 2nd and 3rd floors of a historic Victorian house built in 1907. The house is nestled on a quiet tree lined street on the edge of the city. It is walking distance to really good local restaurants and is only a mile from St. Louis's best attractions in Forest Park.
The unit has been preserved and kept mainly original. The architecture boast 11ft ceilings, 10in baseboards, 5in trim, and a stately pocket door to give you an idea of the charm. Please note that the pocket door can be closed transitioning the living room space into a private fourth sleeping area. The picturesque vaulted attic space was finished into a secluded master suite just last year, turning the unit into approximately 1800sq/ft of living space.
If you would like to prepare some meals in, you have a full kitchen at your finger tips with a refrigerator, stove, microwave, coffee/tea pot, and everything you need to cook. Off the kitchen is a private balcony that you can check out the weather from to prepare for the days adventures. You can also have a sit down dinner in the dinning room or use that space to play board games or cards with the family. In the back you will have access to a small yard and one off street parking spot. You can also enjoy a coffee or cocktail on the very comfortable covered front porch. The front porch is shared with the lower unit, so you could also bump into fellow travelers there.
