Anna's charming little house was super clean and comfortable and conveniently close to cafes, shops, breweries, grocery shopping, downtown Fremont area, public transportation. Everything is accurate (as described), communication timely and Anna was great with providing brunch recommendations (we went to Agrodulce). We were particularly happy that Anna was so flexible with our check-in time (earlier than the norm). Also quite charming with the "guest book" bulletin board in the second bedroom! Lovely stay and I would not hesitate to stay again.

Great location! Really easy to walk to the bars and restaurants in the neighborhood. Anna was great with communicating the details of the stay as it approached. Would absolutely stay at Anna's again!

Mixed feelings...Her place was very central which was awesome. In a great neighborhood. Communication with Anna was easy she was always available and willing to help. However, the place was dirty, the shower looked as if it hadn't been clean in weeks and the floors were dusty. She offered us an air mattress, unfortunately it only had the car adapter and not the wall adapter. She offered to reimburse us for an air mattress if we went to the store and bought one but we were exhausted from the drive and the city that we did have the energy to go buy it. The next day she was kind enough to ask her friend to buy us an air mattress and have her drop it off when we weren't there...only problem was her friend bought the exact same one (with no wall adapter) so we had to inflate the bed outside while it was raining. Definitely not the best experience

Response from Anna:
Thanks for the honest feedback, and I hope you still enjoyed your stay! Its an old duplex, so despite bleach scrubbing the bath and shower (done between each guest!), it will never look totally fresh and new. I appreciate the feedback though and will be sure to pay even more attention to detail. I felt terrible about the mix up with the air mattress! I offered to do anything to make it right, including reimbursement for a mattress of their choice from the store across the street. I was empathetic for their exhaustion from travel and had a friend drop a brand new one off, and it was a total accident for she didn't realize the pump was also a car plug. I felt terrible! Thanks for being so communicative throughout your stay, and I'm sorry it wasn't the best experience. Hope it made for a good story and that you still had fun in Seattle.

Originally from Southern California, I moved up to Seattle in 2009 and fell in love with this city. I work full time (sometimes more than full time..) as an RN, and spend the rest of the time playing and exploring. 8 years I've been here and there's still so much I haven't seen!

I'm pretty basic when it comes to hobbies. Cooking, eating, adventures with friends, working on getting better at billiards (its been a long process...), eating, sharing food, travelling, reading, attempting not to kill plants/gardening, did I say eating?

I was raised in house that always had people coming in and out to live with my family. At one point we had 18 people living with us! So for me, company is always welcome :-)
