I had an awsome experience with the artistic room. It was near from the station so easy to access to Manhattan, Brooklyn downtown and any other landmark in NYC.
Also, John was a very nice host. I really appreciate to his kindness and hospitality.
I had really good time at John's. The flat is charming and beautyfull! Near the train really easy to go downtown from there! I recommand John's appartement! Unfortunatly i didnt saw John during my trip but i was very kind and always connected when i had some questions.
Staying at Johns Apartment was great. It's cozy and clean. The neighborhood was also great with small little houses and nice people all around! We would come back anytime!
John was a great host - granted, we didn't actually meet him, but he left very thorough instructions to let us know how to get in to the apartment and info on lots of things to do in the neighbourhood. The apartment was very clean, and there really isn't too much that I can criticise! The only downside was that the apartment was really, really hot. But then it was August in New York... overall, a really fantastic host!
This location was airy and pleasant, the room cool during warm weather and altogether a lovely place to stay that worked out wonderfully for me. I did quite a bit of walking and riding the subway during my stay. Public transit is within easy walking distance. John left written tips and thoughts about the neighborhood, and his advice on great places to eat and to visit was absolutely spot on.
John was traveling during my stay, but made me feel welcome by providing a great overview of the area in an email, checking to see that I arrived without problem, and he was available and very friendly any time I had a question.
Thank you for this beautiful apartment in the middle of Brooklyn. It s a great atmosphere. It s just about 40 minutes away from manhattan with "Q train" (the subway is very close from the appartment) and it s just 30 minutes away from coney island!! ( being on the beach in nyc is just amazing!!) Moreover, let s visit Westminder road because it is a very beautiful street with so many beautiful houses ( the appartment is at the end of the road).
Great experience. We loved it.
