You must have missed the section of our listing that states that our property is under surveillance. (This section is noted to all guests before they complete the booking process and finish paying.)
Still doesn’t excuse your behavior.
Coming in at 1:00AM and using your hand to disengage the security device, damaging the camera by using one of our severing spoons to hit and knock the camera off it's stand... We have video proof of all of this, and have already sent the clips and documentation to Airbnb to handle this situation. And again, surveillance is clearly noted in our listing as you must agree to this before you are able to complete the booking process. The camera we have in our kitchen is NOT in any personal or private guest areas, only our common spaces. It serves for the safety of all of our guests as well as our own personal safety.
Your behavior was not only creepy and disturbing, but we took it as a threat ---- It left us thinking that you were about to do something that you did not want us to see. More importantly your actions left us feeling unsafe in our own home. To tamper with a security device is a crime, and you not only endangered us but also the other guests who share the home.
