A beautifully positioned apartment close to tram, train and within walking distance to delicious cafes, shops and services that thread their way from St George's Road down to Brunswick Street, Fitzroy. It's the kind of place that offers privacy and peace but in a vibrant part of Melbourne.
This is a ground floor apartment in a block of only nine apartments. Being on the ground means that space is well insulated, and shady trees protect it from the summer sun. The large windows in bedroom, dining and living rooms let in lots of light and give a feeling of spaciousness. WiFi is also available. The apartment has just had new polished floorboards laid, a new stove installed in the kitchen and the bathroom has been rejuvenated.
The open plan living-dining area is cosy and attractively furnished with all new furniture. The kitchen is galley-style and well provisioned for self-catering.
The separate bedroom has a built in wardrobe and an ensuite bathroom, recently renovated, with bath, shower, basin vanity and toilet. The apartment is well-sized for 2 adults.
Guests will have sole access to the whole apartment during their stay, without interruption from me (but I will certainly be available via mobile phone and email). They are also able to use the coin operated washing machine and dryer in the apartment's share laundry on the second floor.
There is an off-street car space also available to guests.
Interaction with guests
Interaction with guests will usually be via email and mobile phone. I have a key safe for guests to use so there will be no problem checking in after hours if need be.

To use the laundry facilities in the apartment block, turn on the bottom switch in the bathroom, then make sure the power cord for the machine in the laundry is in the socket labelled "1". Please remember to turn off switch in bathroom when you've finished.
Smoking is not permitted within the apartment. Pets are not allowed, due to Body Corporate rules. I also expect the place to be left clean and tidy when guests depart, and for guests to respect the needs of tenants living in the other apartments.
