About this listing
This spacious warehouse apartment is right in the heart of the historic Barbican - an area steeped in maritime history! A plethora of cafes, restaurants, gift shops, art galleries, a theatre, museum and the National Marine Aquarium are all right on the doorstep. Just around the corner you can also hop on a ferry to the lovely Cornish seaside villages of Kingsand/ Cawsand or go on a fishing trip. Perfect for large family get-togethers!
The apartment is on the 2nd floor of an old stone warehouse building with stairs leading to a large attic space above, which is a perfect play space for children. There are stair-gates both at the top and the bottom of the stairs to keep small children safe. The lounge is a large open-plan living/ dining space. On warmer days you can open the warehouse doors wide and enjoy the sights and sounds of the historic Barbican from the comfort of your sofa with a delicious take-away from one of the local restaurants!
Guests will have sole use of the entire apartment.

Guests can contact me if they have any questions or problems during their stay.
Other things to note
Please note - there are several cafes and restaurants nearby - some with quite noisy extractor fans which can be heard from the bedrooms at the rear. Music from a nearby pub can be heard from the rear bedrooms on Friday and Saturday nights. We don't recommend this apartment if you are very sensitive to noise. We supply ear-plugs, just in case it is a problem.
This is a residential building so please respect the neighbours and keep noise to a minimum after 10.30pm.
Please don't smoke in the property.
Please try to leave the property as you find it.

I'm a marine adviser and my husband is a landscape gardener. We have lived around the Devon/ Cornwall coast since 2002 and enjoy most things related to the sea. We both row Cornish Pilot gigs and I like to swim in the sea most days. I also enjoy snorkelling, shore diving and stand-up paddleboarding.
