The space

This is a really nice chalet, spacious, full of light and great views of the mountain range. Sunrises and sunsets are often remarkable.
Set it it's own grounds, with a couple of large spruce trees the environment is one of peace and calm. The garden is of a good size and helps privatize the space.
It is not uncommon for wildlife to pass by. For me the best moments are watching the eagles ride the thermals, their peircing whistles encouraging me to search the skies.
The entrance to the chalet is on the ground floor (or from the garage).
Along the hallway into the heart of the chalet, the living area with, at one end, a fireplace, large flatscreen and comfortable sofa.
In the middle of this area are some sliding doors giving access to the garden terrace outside, and at the other end the dining area with well equipped kitchen just off to the right. (gas/electric cooker with oven, dish washer, fridge and freezer and numerous appliances
The room is convivial, shaped like an 'L' , where everybody will be able to find a space to relax together;
On this floor there is also a wc and a good sized bedroom with two single beds (bunk).
Up to the next floor, which oozes calm through it's warm atmosphere. There is a study with fold down sofabed (if necessary) in one corner. The wifi is just outside so the office has a very good connection. (You can connect up from all over the chalet).
The two upstairs bedrooms are facing the mountain range and both have access to the wrap around balcony and are equipped with televisons.
The first has a large double bed, the second a double bed with ensuite bathroom. All three of these rooms have doors out to the balcony.
The second bathroom, with bath, shower and wc is on this floor too.
At the garage level there is another bedroom (this has no windows but is well ventilated), a shower room with wc. There is also a washing machine and a dryer at this level.
The garage is of a good size with room for bikes, skis and etc.
The chalet is easily accessible and situated away from the hustle and bustle but still in a developped area. The closest commercial activity is the local spa.
In winter it is recommended to have chains and/or snow tyres

We stayed (10 people) in Ash's chalet in Les Houches and everything was perfect. The place is actually bigger than on the pictures and the location is very good (super view on the mountains and only 15 minutes away from Chamonix). The communication with Ash was very easy. We really enjoyed our stay and hope to come back soon.

Very nice experience there. Perfect chalet, pretty near the slopes. AMAZING views on the Mont Blanc and the fantastic Aiguille du Midi. A SPA is 5 minutes away by walking from the chalet. And Ash and his wife are the most perfect guests. We highly recommend.

What a beautiful, warm and romantic place to stay and what a magnificent view on the mountains. We stayed with a group of 8 for which the chalet was perfectly equipped. All you need is available, including the good care of Ash Morgan who is very helpful for everything you need. We can really recommend this chalet and are sure to come here in the near future!

Fantastic, rustic lodge, nicer than our expectations set by the description. We were a group of eight who spent four nights over Christmas. The location allowed us to explore during the day, and the house's facilities were more than sufficient for creating large communal dinners by the fire each night. I would definitely stay there again....especially if there was more snow. Ash was extremely friendly and helpful and proved patient and flexible with us as we took a bit longer to pack up and leave than expected.

Great chalet, great views. The location is slightly isolated and perfect for families or groups in search of quiet solitude. The interior is warm and homely allowing for the perfect opportunity to relax and unwind. Thank you Ash for all your assistance, from start to finish!

I like living, really enjoy meeting people and love travelling, with the destination taking second place to the trip itself. Have been working in the travel industry most of my working life and when I am not working I just hope I am fortunate enough to be travelling
