Holmhurst is a holiday home close to Thornham beach. Holmhurst is a comfortable, and relaxing space for families, and friends. There are 6 bedrooms, kitchen diner, sitting room with open fire, views over the garden, and an additional tv room. Quick Wi-Fi and work space. Secure west facing garden, BBQ, and outside seating. Direct access onto the coastal path. The beach and dunes is a 10 min walk. Great local pubs in walking distance. It is a perfect holiday home for any time of the year.
The space
Holmhurst is very comfortable and relaxing. Easy to feel at home. Large Kitchen Diner with a table that seats 12 easily. The kitchen is well equipped with plenty of crockery, glasses and cookware. There are 2 sitting rooms, one is more formal with a full working open fire, lovely for cozy winter nights. The other sitting room more informal and great space for kids to watch TV. Access to Free view and XBOX360. (games available). There is a utility / W.C. room with washing machine and separate dryer. Over the first and second floors there are 6 bedrooms with hotel quality linen, duvets, and pillows. On the first floor there is 1 x super king bedroom with ensuite shower room, 1 x double bedroom and 2 bedrooms with twin single beds per room and 1 family bathroom with bath and over head shower. The second floor has a king size bedroom and ensuite shower room, 1 bunkbed room (children only) and an additional family bathroom with bath and over head shower. Large soft white towels are provided. The house is light and airy. The garden is fenced so secure for children. The house has direct access to a bridle path that leads down to the beach. Near to the house are local amenities Drove Farm which includes a farm shop, fish and chips (Erics), Pizza, ice cream parlour, clothes shopping and many more. The pubs and Deli are a short stroll away in the village.
Thornham is a great spot on the Norfolk coast with lots of Big Sky's and sea! Beautiful sandy beaches. The village hall has events, and the Muga and play area are great to entertain the kids. Along the coast is Brancaster and Burnham Market. Days out include Sandringham, Snettisham Deer Park, Shopping In Norwich, lazy days on the beach, and bird watching at the RSPB reserves. Late Checkout on Sundays is possible

Access into the house is via a lockbox. Check in is from 4 pm. If there are any special requirements, please let me know as I have a local housekeeper who is on hand. Peak season is 7 nights booking
Other things to note
We supply a small welcome pack of dishwasher tablets / toilet roll to see you through the first night stay. please ensure that you bring your own additional supplies.
Dogs are welcome but only downstairs and not to be allowed on the furniture. A maximum of 2 dogs per stay. please inform me the type of breed. All dog mess to be cleared otherwise additional charges will be applied.
Weekly change over is on Fridays in high season.
Price is dependent on low, mid and high season rates and number of nights.
Christmas and New year booking are a minimum stay of 4 nights
All bedding and towels / bath mats to be stripped prior to leaving the property.
Please let me know if something is broken during your stay so that it can be replaced.
There is a BBQ to use but please clean the rack prior to use and after use for the next guests. Charcoal can be found locally.
If you use the fire in the house you will need to supply wood and kindling which can be found locally. please ensure you remove the fire ash after use but do not out this in the bin if the embers are still hot
Peak season is 7 nights booking
It may be possible to have a late check out on a weekend booking if departing on the Sunday

The house is located just on the outskirts of Thornham with direct access to the bridle path to the beach. There may be potential to road noise owing to the proximity of the road. The beach at Thornham is beautiful and quieter than Brancaster beach.
Thornham village has a good selection of pubs in the village along with a Deli and Farm shop. It is well served for food.
The village has a village hall, cricket football pitch and a tennis court all within 5 minutes away from the house.
