Charming Tahoe Pines cabin built in 1905 with the help of the Washoe Indians, sits on an idyllic lot in Blackwood Canyon.

The space

Right when you pull up to this cabin you know you have arrived in Tahoe. The cabin is set on over a half acre of land that backs to national forest and the beautiful Blackwood Canyon with stunning views of the mountains. There is a large stone fire pit (permit require to burn) and stone table in the back yard. Lots of room to play or relax outdoors. Take a short walk down a path that leads to a private beach on Blackwood Creek. When you enter the cabin you will find yourself in the kitchen/dining area. There is a nice size dining table and open kitchen with everything you will need for your stay. The living room will make you feel at ease with its high ceilings and cozy sitting arrangement. A wood burning fireplace and flat screen TV as well as game systems, movies and board games finish off the living room. A good size deck off of the living room is where you can BBQ or lounge and listen to the creek winding by. From the living room you can access a loft which features a queen size bed and great views of the forest(there is a ladder stair to get to this room it is not suitable for children, use caution). There are two bedrooms off of the living room: the first has a queen size bed and the second, which is only accessible thru the first room, has a bunk bed with twin on top and double on bottom. This is a great set up for a family with younger children. A full bathroom just off of the kitchen/living room area features a shower. The spiral staircase takes you to another loft sleeping area. The master bedroom is down the hall from kitchen and has a semi-private bathroom with a bathtub. The bedroom has a king size bed and updated decor. Easy access to hiking trails and cross country skiing. Homewood Mountain is just minutes away in the winter. Or walk to and hike up Eagle Rock. This home also has access to Tahoe Pines private pier and beach about 3/4 mile walk down the street. This cabin is sure to become your Lake Tahoe favorite spot!

Guest access

The entire home is yours to use except the loft above the kitchen, it is not safe to access this area. Also the loft above the living room as very narrow and steep stairs, children are not allowed to use this room. Please use caution while going up and down these steps.

Our office is open 7 days a week and our answering service is available 24 hours a day. We try our best to get back to you as soon as possible

Other things to note

The neighbours are full-time residents. Do not block the driveway, do not park on the dirt areas. Please do not leave trash in the house, put all trash in the bear bin. If you have extra trash (more than one can) you will be charged $50 as an extra trash pick up will be required. Trash pickup is every Wednesday.

RENTER'S DEPARTURE CLEANING CHECKLIST
Please Honor the 10am check-out time!

A. KITCHEN AREA:
Have you tidied up? Load and start the dishwasher, take Kitchen trash to outside receptacle. DO NOT LEAVE TRASH OUTSIDE, BEARS WILL GET INTO IT AND YOU WILL BE CHARGED FOR CLEAN UP-$50. Recycling is done by our garbage disposal company. Please do not leave items for recycling in the property – remove them with the trash. You may leave perishables in the refrigerator.

B. LAUNDRY:
Please start a load of linens.

C. LIVING/DINING AREAS:
Have you tidied up?
Do not empty the fireplace! Housekeepers will take care of this.
Do not burn on the day of your departure.

D. BEDROOMS:
Please remove sheets and pillowcases and put in laundry room.
DO NOT put comforters, shams, mattress pads or blankets in laundry.

E. BATHROOMS:
Take used towels to the laundry room.

F. GENERAL:
Close windows, drapes and window coverings. Turn out the lights, lock the doors and windows.
Turn the heat down to 50 degrees. (NEVER OFF - PIPES WILL FREEZE IN THE WINTER!!!)

PETS:
No Pets allowed $250 fee if it is found that you brought and unauthorized pet.


O'NEAL BROKERS TERMS OF OCCUPANCY & RESPONSIBILITY AGREEMENT

THIS AGREEMENT is made and entered into by and between O’Neal Brokers, (“we” or “us”), whose principal office is located at 1877 N. Lake Blvd. P.O. Box 802, Tahoe City, CA 96145, and you. The Terms of Occupancy are considered part of this Agreement.

ARRIVAL AND DEPARTURE TIMES:
Rentals begin at 4:00 PM on arrival day and terminate at 10:00 AM on departure day.

DAMAGES:
You hereby agree you are accepting responsibility for any and all damages to the property and its contents, including, but not limited to repairs, fines/assessments, excess cleaning, eviction. You further agree that the costs of any repairs or replacements to said property will be charged to the credit card number provided at the time of booking.

CLEANING:
You have been charged a cleaning fee as part of your reservation. These fees are based on the size of the house and standard times to clean the property as determined by the cleaning contractors. If the cleaning required exceeds what is considered “normal”, you will be charged for the additional cleaning. If you build a fire, please do not clean out the ashes. Hot ashes will be disposed of properly by housekeeping when cooled.

AUTOMOBILES:
Most rental properties permit two cars per property. Inquire with property manager. Additional or improperly parked cars may be towed. During the winter months (Nov. thru April) please do not park any vehicles on the street at rental HOME locations. This is prohibited by Placer County which imposes strict fines for violations.

RECREATIONAL VEHICLES: Boats and/or trailers, mobile homes, campers, all types of motorcycles, mopeds, and snowmobiles are prohibited from use and/or parking at the condominium developments.

RECREATIONAL KEYS/PASSES:
A $150.00 fee will be assessed for any and all spa keys, recreation passes, and/or security gate passes
that are not returned, lost or stolen.

SLEEPING CAPACITIES:
Individual properties sleep varying amounts of persons. No more persons than for which there are
bona fide beds shall occupy a property. If you exceed the max occupancy stated you will be charged a fine to be determined by management.

INTERNET: Most, but not all, of our properties provide internet service. It is your responsibility to ask management if the property you have rented provides internet service if this is an important feature for you.

CREDITS: Inconveniences over which we have no control and which do not warrant any refunds: breakdown of appliances or entertainment/recreational devices; internet/wireless connections;
power, gas, cable outages; adverse road/weather conditions (does not include road closures exceeding 6 hours); construction taking place in the area; a property that is not decorated to suit one’s individual taste.

FIREWOOD:
Firewood is not provided in most rental properties. You can purchase boxes and bundles of wood from the local grocery stores, Save Mart and Safeway or Swigard’s True Value Hardware.

SPA DISCLOSURE:
If the property you have reserved has a hot tub on the premises, please be advised that hot tubs are a wonderful, pleasurable amenity if used correctly. They are, however a very high maintenance item subject to a degree of down time. Should the hot tub at the residence or development you’ve rented not be available during your stay, $25.00 per night will be the maximum basis for any rent adjustment.
Please do not add soaps, perfumes, oils, etc. to the spa as it could incur an extra cleaning charge.

RENTER IS RESPONSIBLE
A. Renter is responsible to report, upon arrival, any damages noted in the property. Said report to be made by ph(PHONE NUMBER HIDDEN) or (PHONE NUMBER HIDDEN) during business hours, 9:00 am - 4:30 pm
7 days a week (except major holidays). If it's after hours please feel free to leave a message.

B. Renter is responsible for any loss or damage to the contents of the property, including but not limited to furniture and furnishings. Owner and agent are not responsible for any loss or damage to property left on premises by renter.

LOST & FOUND:
We will try to locate any of your lost items as soon as possible and send them to you. Your credit card on file will be charged for the shipping fee and a $25.00 retrieval fee. Management is not responsible for any items left behind by renters or guests.

CONSTRUCTION NEAR YOUR RENTAL PROPERTY:
The Tahoe area is a continuously growing community. There are many construction projects underway in our area at any given time. We cannot guarantee that you will not be affected by construction noise and/or traffic.
