Kurt is a great host, met us at the apartment and helped us get acclimated, even though we had a little mishap upon entry to his place! Very kind and helpful in spite of my clumsiness. Great location and parking not a problem. There was some construction nearby but it didn't hamper our ability to get around. We could walk to everywhere we needed to go. Little touches were nice, like coffee options, things to do around town, recommendations of places to eat. Comfy bed and nice kitchen and bathroom, laundry was handy to have as well. We'll stay here again when we are back in town!

The place was large and very comfortable. Kurt replied to any and all my questions in a timely manner. I was dropping my brother off at Randolph so having a place that was remotely close was helpful (7 minute drive) He left detailed notes and recommendations of things to do around the area which were very useful. Great place, awesome host!

The Caterpillar Suite is smack in the middle of some of the most beautiful and historical buildings in Lynchburg. It is also walking distance to anything you might need...a marguerita at El Jefe and some really good tacos or browsing in some wonderful antique stores. We loved the historical building...all the details from the beautiful brass door knobs to all the exquisite moulding in the spacious apartment. Kurt is an excellent and thoughtful host with coffee and cream in the fridge and a snack for the newly arrived. We can't wait to return and try another of his properties...couldn't of been more comfortable...Many thanks, Kurt!

Great place! Very clean! Would stay here again. Kurt was a wonderful host, very attentive. He accommodated us with a late check-in and helped keep our belongings locked up until we could move our son into his apartment. He went above and beyond our expectations! Thank you Kurt!!

The Caterpillar Suite is a nice, relaxing Suite in a quaint old building in historic downtown(URL HIDDEN)There's a lot of construction going on in the downtown area so things weren't as pretty as I had anticipated but I love the fact that the town is being restored. There are many beautiful buildings and so much potential! In saying that, be advised that the scenery isn't much to look at presently. Also, being an open air country girl, I was anticipating, to at least see some kind of scenery (main street, etc..) out of the 3rd story street side windows but it only looks out at a parking garage. The other windows all face the building next door. I believe Kurt mentions that in his description as well. It was a good experience..and we loved the fact that we were within walking distance to some awesome eateries and shops. Kurt was an excellent host in promptly answering questions prior to our stay and leaving a nice descriptive list of places to eat and things to do. He also left a basket of snacks, which was lovely. The kitchen is well stocked with dishes and coffee. No food, which is fine. You will probably choose to eat out while you're there as it may be a little cumbersome to carry a bunch of things up 3 flights of stairs! We would definitely recommend Kurt's place to anyone needing a place to just relax and hang out! Oh, and for being so close to downtown and in a building with offices, it was exceptionally quiet. The place was very clean and neat. The bed was very comfortable..towels and linens were great! I would recommend Kurt's place to anyone, especially those that appreciate historic buildings and don't mind the 3 flights of stairs!
