The location was great. Super close to the streetcar or a short Uber/Lyft ride to most places we wanted to see. We had never been to New Orleans and fell in love with the city. I'm ready to plan my next trip and bring friends. The place itself was great and we will stay again when we visit again.

We had a great stay. Joshua answered me immediately when we needed an overnight stay at the last minute. Check in was simple. The house is a bit over crowded. The wifi wasn't great. The room was small. Old and dingy carpets. But they were accommodating and pet friendly. What more could you ask for?

The house is amazing, and the details you've read here are accurate. It's unlike any place I've ever been: books and art stacked to the ceiling. Like a scene out of Harry Potter or something. That said, it came with the quirks of being such a unique place. It's old, so things are warm down. It's cluttered, and there were bugs. I was moving cross country and didn't feel comfortable with all my belingings parked on the street in their neighborhood. Maybe that was just me being cautious. If you don't have a car, or take the belongings out of yours, you may be okay.

Perfect location close to magazine street, and street cars to get to the French quarter or aquarium! Joshua communicated well and even let us check in a couple hours early so we could store out luggage. The room was a bit outdated and had a slight carpet odor of an older house for the price at 80 a night but we wernt there long due to everything else to see in the area!
