Montford Cottage is a lovely whitewashed house, standing in a unique position on the southern shores of the Isle of Bute, off the west coast of Scotland.
This detached cottage is in a wonderful location, perched on rocks with sea views on three sides, and with a rustic, walled garden overlooking the sea.

Its situation is perfect for exploring Bute either by foot, bicycle, car or open-top bus. Or simply relax and enjoy the view

I grew up on Bute and my parents and sister still live locally, just around the Bay. We bought Montford cottage 6 years ago as a holiday home for our family and visit 3 or 4 times a year. We love its unique location and it is an excellent base for exploring the island.
