Tucked around the corner from a small buddhist temple and minutes away from the Nagamachi samurai district and Saigawa river, is Kaga House.
The house was traditionally transformed into a modern day machiya and has a wonderful mix of east and west. The first floor has a garden, living room, kitchen and bath area. The bedrooms on the second floor have western beds and futons as well, and are painted blue and red, a famous pair of colors in Kanazawa distinguishing samurais from non samurais.
