We had a great stay at Dan's in Kinnegad. He could not have done more for us. The room was clean and we were given a very healthy breakfast in the morning. I would certainly recommend staying here.

Response from Dan:
Your kind comments are much appreciated with the minor amendment to my location which is in Kilbeggan. It was great to have you both. Best Wishes, Dan

It was a clean and nice room and dan is an amazing host who has shown us around in the village and gave amazing advise about what we could go visit. He also puts a lot of effort in the breakfast for all his guests.

Absolutely great!! Dan was so welcoming and interesting to talk too. We had some car difficulty and dan stepped in and had everything sorted ASAP. Had a great breakfast and healthy juice, it was awesome. Highly recommend staying here. Thanks dan for a great introduction to Ireland.

My girlfriend and I spent the last Saturday night at Dan's bed and breakfast and couldn't have asked for more. Dan is an excellent host and his house was the perfect country side escape after a busy 3 nights in the city of Galway. We planned on going to the Tullamore DEW and Kilbeggan distilleries, so the Fort House B&B was a perfect location for our goals. Plus it's an easy walk to downtown Kilbeggan and the Grand Canal (which Dan brought us to and explained its history). It's a wonderful area to find walks, including at some local bogs. Dan is a jack of all trades. We enjoyed reading his poems, hearing about his knowledge of local history and the work he's done helping to preserve buildings and land in the area. Additionally, after eating unhealthy the previous days in Galway, it was so welcome to have Dan's fresh produce smoothies he made for us right from his garden. The map on air bnb confused us, but after messaging Dan, he showed up on the scene just a few minutes later to help us out. Wish we could have stayed longer, but will definitely make a point to return next time we visit the Emerald Island. Thanks Dan!
