I changed the style of the room. This is my new room. Eveything is same except the style of the room, especially my hospitality.

The space

My home is 10 minutes away by walking to Selcuk University Campus.

If you come by bus to Konya, you'll take a tram from Otogar (bus station) and come to campus. It takes 20 minutes. I will come and take you to the home from campus.

If you come by train to Konya, firstly, take a bus to Alaaddin Hill. It takes 7~15 minutes. Then take a tram from Alaaddin Hill to campus. It takes 45 minutes. I will come and take you to the home from campus.

It's far but easy to come to my home, because campus is the last station of tram. You have no chance to miss the station. :))
By the way, the trams mostly have free wifi.

I work at university campus until 17:00, so if you come after 17:30, it'll be easier for me to pick you up.

Interaction with guests

I'll be in the home while hosting you. If there's an exception, I'll tell you before you come.

I prepare breakfast for my guests at a 99% probability. And you can have dinner with us if you want to. :)

Every now and then you come across a proprietor who is unbelievably dedicated and invested in their lodging business. Mücahid is, without a doubt, one of those rare gems. He's very dedicated to providing the best hospitality you'll ever receive. Communication was superb, prior and during my sojourn in Konya. Upon arrival late into the night, Mücahid waited for me at the tram station to take me to his flat, and immediately made me feel welcomed. The room was in pristine condition, decorated Turkish style. He introduced me to his amicable friends and had me join them for dinner. He also made sure that I was well oriented with the city, and made sure I knew where to find the best meals. He also recommended to explore Sille, a quaint village at the outskirts of Konya that I would not have discovered if it had not been recommended. Most notably, Mücahid invited me to wait and rest at his flat on the day of my departure, as oppose to waiting somewhere in the city until my overnight bus journey to my following destination. Mücahid is kind, attentive, and driven by passion-- qualities every proprietor should possess. I highly recommend that you book with him if you're looking to stay with a local and receive a genuine welcome to the city. That being said, there are two things I can foresee some people having issues with: 1) The flat is located at the outskirts of the city (about a 45-minute tram ride to the center; 20-minute ride to and from Otogar.) However, the tram station is conveniently close to the flat. Plan accordingly! 2) You will have to contend with an Asian/squat toilet. However, this did not bother me one bit and I managed with ease. After all, you are in Asia. Mücahid will have slippers at your disposal, as well. Overall, an incredible experience, thanks to Mücahid and his friends. He excelled all of my expectations and made my stay in Konya a pleasant one. You won't regret it.

I decided to stay at Mücahid's place after i read all the amazing reviews. It turned out to be all true. I only had one day to visit Konya and he helped me all the way (he even met me at 3am to take me to his place). The room is great, and gives a genuine feel of the city.

Mücahid is a great host. He waited for me by the tramway stop at 10pm when it was freezing. He even made some dinner and breakfast for me. I felt really welcomed. His flat is in the outskirts of Konya but the access is easy if you take the tram. The room was pretty nice, Turkish style, so I really enjoyed it. He is very respectful and kind, he cared about me having everything I needed. If you want to feel Turkish hospitality, don't heasitate and go there :)

This was my first Air Bnb experience and it was fantastic. Mucahid was a great host, friendly, polite and helpful. The accommodations were also very clean and comfortable. While far from the city center, everything was easily and cheaply accessible from the nearby tramline and the neighborhood is quite safe at all hours as well.

Mucahid was very welcoming. He was helpful in translation and offering advise to improve my traveling experience. The room was exactly as it appears in the picture.... I enjoyed his cooking and the ease at which he made me feel. This location was a little bit away from the main city area so taking cabs was necessary but all in all I would definately recommend. Thanks Mucahid.
