Birdy's Nest is a nature lover's DREAM, amidst 70 wooded acres, just 8 miles from downtown Marquette. Surround yourself with mature trees & wildlife. Lake Superior, snowmobile trails, the bike path, & Marquette Mountain are just minutes away. Outdoor enthusiasts enjoy ample garage space to park their car & equipment. Enjoy both privacy & convenience!

The space
The studio is located on the 2nd story of a board and batten barn (housing no livestock), located at the bottom of the hill from the home that sits on the property. (Please note, access is available only via stairway. There is no elevator.) A private deck, complete with grill, table and chairs, and string lights, is directly accessible. Cozy in-floor heat is available in the winter, and air conditioning in the summer. Smart TV and wi-fi included. A Queen-sized bed (with all white linens for ensured cleanliness), full kitchen, and 3/4 bath complete the accommodations. Beneath the studio is ample garage space to park a car, snowmobiles, or any outdoor gear.

Guest access
Guests have private access to the studio and deck, and are also invited to park in the garage underneath. The studio and home sit in the midst of 70 acres, and guests are welcome to use the trails cut into the surrounding woods. Kayaks are available for use for a small, refundable deposit.

Other things to note
Birdy’s Nest has the feel of being in the middle of nowhere, offering a true UP experience, AND with the added benefit of being only eight miles from downtown Marquette. Centrally located in the Upper Peninsula, day trips to surrounding areas are encouraged! Wildlife regularly roams the property, and the Northern Lights are visible as well! Birdy’s Nest offers both isolation and convenience!
