Cozy and Rustic West Shore Lake Tahoe cabin close to Homewood Ski Resort, Sugar Pine Point State Park, Meeks Bay, Emerald Bay. Cabin has all basic amenities along with a hot tub, games movies and books to share.

The space

The cabin has been shared with people visiting from all over the country as well as areas of the world. I have tried my best to give it touches of home. It has rustic decor throughout. Most walls are finished with wood Paneling, bedrooms in Pine. It holds all basic essentials. I have a K cup Machine set up for (website hidden) has cable, VCR and DVD player with dozens of classic and favorite movies to share. Cabin also has a variety of books, huge selection of games for adults and children.

Guests have access to Waters Edge pier and Beach within a few minute walk of the cabin, overlooking Magestic Lake Tahoe! Guests are free to use washer/dryer, k cup machine, Movies, Dvd, Hot tub, read books, games any ski/outdoor equipment ect left in mudroom. Please just return all items to their spaces when done!

I am happy to share ideas and information on surrounding area. I am not available to meet in person typically however I have local maintenence/cleaner that are available in case of immediate needs. I am however always available for questions or concerns via text, email, phone.

The Cabin is on the historic side of the Lake
"Magical West Shore" Bordering Desolation wilderness and right next to California' Beautiful State Parks. Sugar Pine Point is just within a short bike ride from the cabin!

There is a bus called Tart, the "Tahoe Trolley" (summer only) as well as a Free Ski Shuttle going to over to Sqauw, Alpine, Homewood and other ski resorts.

There is no wifi in the cabin however I have been successful using my "Personal Hotspot" on my phone to connect to internet. I do try and "disconnect" a bit to enjoy nature and highly recommend.

Very cozy place with a lot of conveniences we enjoyed include a little hot tubbing! A great alternative to camping for us. We could be with our camping family and still enjoy a real shower and bed yet get the total Tahoe experience! Thank you Noelle, very nice place!

This is an old-fashioned family cabin. We accept a bit of quirky non-standardness for the charm of a rustic lake home. We had to improvise a bit in the kitchen, but this cabin fits a family like a pair of comfy old slippers. Plus, Lake Tahoe is knockout gorgeous!

We had quite a few issues with the cabin. First of all when we arrived, there were no sheets on the bed and a note on the washer from the former guests saying they couldn't start the washer because there was no laundry detergent available. So I made the bed and then the cleaners showed up. They started taking the clean sheets off the bed I had just made, but I was able to get them to understand that I had just made the bed. The light fixture in the main (queen bed) bedroom did not work, so we found a light bulb and replaced it. When I took the glass bulb off to do so, it was broken on the edge and almost fell into my hand. We did not try to replace it since it could fall and shatter. Neither of the two hairdryers worked. There were dogs barking in the neighborhood at 6 a.m. (never a good thing). When we tried to make coffee (we brought our own ground coffee), the coffee pot didn't work and caused a big mess all over the counter top. There was a K-Cup maker but no pods to make coffee with. Something is wrong with the TV remote and it only works intermittently. We finally had to unplug it to get it to go off. It may need new batteries. Aside from all these problems, the instructions should have been emailed to me at least the day before we were to arrive. Because they weren't, we were very stressed out when we couldn't get hold of the host to get the code, and even though she did send the email the day we were to arrive, we had terrible reception on our phones, so basically it was too late for us to be able to access the code. NO WIFI! Overall, not a good experience!

Such a great stay! Noelle sent great tips and information before we arrived. The home is close to everything we wanted to do and in such a quiet neighborhood. We loved that it was stocked with games and movies for our down time and would definitely stay here for our next trip up!

Great cabin with good location near beaches. I would recommend it based on value. It's a really good value. However, this cabin doesnt have 100% of the amenities that you would expect from a cabin at this price point. If you are looking for more than the basics, you might want to look elsewhere.

Wonderful place to stay, especially if you are looking for a quiet area to stay at within reach of all the activities Lake Tahoe has to offer.

My family and I had a great time at the cabin. There were no issues with the cabin and it was really a special place to spend at Lake Tahoe.
