This place is on its way to being a 5 star stay, but still a work in progress because some amenities are needed. The kitchen was beautiful but unusable because there were no cooking utensils. Check before you come if things like a hair dryer, iron, or coffee pot are present if those things are important to you. Lovely large yard shared by two friendly dogs and neighbor in the back who was also friendly. Comfortable queen bed in one room and looks like they're putting in a twin in the smaller, attached room. That little room was perfect for our 2 1/2 year old daughter, who had a great time. The house was just the right size for two adults and one small child. Wifi speeds are top notch. One AC unit did a good job (after the initial night) of keeping the place comfortable. Centrally located near Colorado Blvd and other Pasadena attractions. Great tacos within walking distance! Mark was easy to get ahold of and we had no trouble getting in.

This is a cute small house located well back off the street, and fronted by a large grassy yard and driveway. It's pretty basic, but nice enough inside. Note that the "2nd bedroom" is more like a half room with no furnishings - which worked great for us to store our luggage, but would be a tight squeeze for someone to sleep there (probably OK for a child). We loved having the yard (which includes a picnic table) for our dog to hang out in, but recognize that there is another tenant in a smaller unit on the back of the property, and she has 2 big active dogs which also use the yard. This was not made clear in the initial AirBnB write-up, so we were a bit surprised to discover this. However, the tenant and her dogs are both super nice, so we got along well (which helps, as you may have to coordinate the parking situation a bit with her, since the driveway is long but narrow). Just be aware that this compromises the privacy of the house a little bit, and I did suggest to the house owner that more window/door coverings are needed. Note that the owner was very responsive & helpful during our stay, so I fully expect this to be improved and made clearer to future renters. Overall, we would definitely stay here again, but it does help if you are a "dog person".

brand new airbnb listing ... ample space for up to 3 or 4 people comfortably ... HUGE gated yard ... conveniently located on a mixed-use street (there are businesses and residences) ... pullout sofa is comfortable .... a great value and was perfect for our stay with 2 dogs ... communication is excellent with mark and the other owner ... thanks for letting us stay ... would come back in an instant

Mark's place is truly charming! It was easy to get to...perfectly off the beaten track. We had two cars, and he had great parking. The place had everything we needed for a quick weekend away! Mark's instructions to check in and out were easy. We would definitely stay again!! Thanks, Mark!!
