The space
Lime Lodge is the largest and most secluded of the 12 modern Cedar Clad Billingsley Lodges, located on 6 acres of gated countryside, deep within the heart of the idyllic Severn Valley. Enjoy the tranquil environment from your secluded veranda or hot hub, surrounded by wildlife, nature and amazing stargazing opportunities.

The kitchen is fully equipped with cooking utensils and there is a supply of herbs, spices, condiments, oil, tea, coffee and sugar. There is a Tassimo coffee machine but you will need to provide your own pods.

The Lodge includes a wood burner which is perfect for a winter stay, especially after you have explored the historic Shropshire towns of Bridgnorth, BewdleyandIironbridge amongst others. See 'Neighbourhood Description' for local attractions and actives. The lodge is also a short drive from the picturesque Shropshire Hills that are an area of outstanding natural beauty, (AONB).

All three bathrooms have a shower, the master onsuite also has a full bath. Beds are made and towels are provided. 1 Super king-size bed, 2 single beds. 1 bunk bed 2x6ft long, 3ft wide, suitable for adults (MAX - 15 stone).

Parking is available for 3 vehicles outside Lime Lodge. No parking is allowed on the grass.

There is reasonable storage areas for medium sports equipment. eg. bikes/kayaks below the decking veranda. This is an unsecured outside area so please bring your cycle locks.

Bi-fold doors combine the open plan living area with the veranda, linking the modern lodge with the natural environment.

The hot tub is in use all year round and is checked and monitored daily, with frequent water changes.

Perfect dog walking area. Please see Dog Policy.

We advise booking well in advance for weekends due to the high demand.

The estate requests no loud parties on this site. You will be asked to leave if you cause a disturbance to others.

The hot tub may be emptied between guests. The water therefore may be warm when you arrive and not hot, this is unfortunate but cannot be helped.

Park Rules and Lodge policies apply. Please make yourself, and guests, aware of the rules prior to your visit.

Guest access
Lime Lodge is the end lodge on the right. There is ramped access from the car park area onto the front decking. The front door leads into a small entrance hall and then into the open plan Lounge/Dining /Kitchen.
All bedrooms, decking and Hot-tub are accessible from this open plan area. 24 hours before arrival you will be contacted via email with directions and the security code for the keysafe (which is next to the front door).

Other things to note
Dog Policy

There is a dog water bowl but not a food one. As well as a food bowl, please bring their own bed with you as this is not provided. We kindly ask you to clean up after your dog.

Dogs are not allowed on the beds or settees.

Dogs must not be left in the lodge on their own. Any damage caused in the lodge will be chargeable.

Dogs have to be on a lead at all times and please clear up after them.

Walks

Turn left out of the park, left again on the main road B4363, quick left again into next field. This is a public right of way. This footpath takes you to the Chorley road, turn left to take you to the Duck Inn at Chorley. This is a 2 mile walk along a country lane running alongside the woods, there is no footpath on this road.

Turn right out of Billingsley Park , walk along the road, again no footpath, turn left just past the derelict pub and follow the lane for about a mile to the ford. You can then turn right and walk down the old railway line.

Severn Valley Country Park (near Highley) and the Wyre Forest (near Bewdley) are fantastic walks for the dog and the family – have a good look on a map.

Things to do

Local market towns include Bridgnorth, Bewdley, Much Wenlock and Ludlow. The Severn Valley steam railway runs from Kidderminster to Bridgnorth with plenty of stations in between. Ironbridge, home to the Industrial Revolution, includes Blists Hill, a Victorian Town, and many other museums. The West Midlands Safari Park is located between Bewdley and Kidderminster and also has a theme park. There are many opportunities to go fishing, play golf, canoe down the Severn, paddle board at Chelmarsh and much more. There are plentiful shops, cafes, restaurants, bars, markets etc. with easy parking at all destinations. Wyre Forest has a excellent parking area, cafe, cycle paths, dog walks and childrens climbing area, a brilliant day out for all the family.

Cycles can be left underneath the lodge.
