A quaint studio apartment in the heart of Koreatown, one of Los Angeles's most vital and hip neighborhoods. Five minute walk to the Metro Purple line which runs to Downtown with available transfers to Hollywood and Santa Monica. Surrounded by tons and tons of restaurants of varying cuisines from around the world. The pad is in a historic building which use to be an extended stay hotel for the dreamers of the 1930s. Come and experience the REAL Los Angeles.

The space

Entire private studio offers privacy to relax from the hustle and bustle of the city

Guest access

Guests will have access to DVD player, coffee and tea, toiletries, shower, double bed, desk, mini fridge, toaster oven and speakers with input for phone.

Interaction with guests

I will see you at check in and check out to insure the acquiring of the keys

Other things to note

There is no A/C or internet. I do have a couple of fans. And the unit is on the side of the building that does not get overwhelming sun, so it stays rather pleasant. August is usually the hottest month here, which can get rough when there is a heatwave. Cooler at night, since Los Angeles is a desert.

Charles was very responsive whenever I sent a message. The apartment was as described. Very inviting and eclectic. Checking in was a breeze. The area has some nice restaurants and was relatively convenient to the Metro (Purple line).

This place was exactly as Charles had shown on the Airbnb listings. Charles was very nice and welcoming, and the neighborhood was close-by to public transportations, so it was fairly convenient.

This listing is in a perfectly situated area in Koreatown, catnip for the aspiring foodie any day. Charles is a fountain of local knowledge as well and can get you headed in the right direction for whatever you're looking for.

Charles Appartment was very cozy, although it was part of an older building. The decoration really put charme to the appartment and made us feel at home. Even though some ratings said, that the neighbourhood is not that good, I can't confirm that. We had absolutely no problems and even had a nice talk with some of the neighbours. It was a really nice stay, would definately stay again.

Great location in Korea town. We felt very welcomed by Charles. He also provided us with complimentary cold beverages which were a fantastic touch when we first arrived in hot Los Angeles
