BreakfastThis is one of few homes in this area that has this feature.

We have a beautiful heritage homestead on a working 150 acre farm. Our house is super warm in winter, set in a beautiful landscape with cows, calves and horses grazing. Country walks, Come and relax, enjoy walks through our paddocks and orchard. Meet our resident Guinea fowl, fresh farm eggs. Our horses (Molly and Teapot and Bob love a fresh carrot)

We are located in between Berridale and Jindabyne 5 mins down an unsealed road. We are 20mns to Jindabyne and 50mns from the snow fields.

A secluded and quiet place with lots of rustic charm. A great place for a few days away surrounded by rolling fields not far from Jindabyne and the snowy mountains. Great for those seeking privacy and a taste of country living.

This review was a hard one for me to write, as the house was exactly what I expected, but I don't know if it was the right place for us. Trish's house is beautiful, it's in a secluded area. The guinea fowl is wonderful, the horses were gorgeous. Trish was very open with communica…

Thanks Jen for your positive feedback, may I add in regards to the oven and stove top, it is a very common appliance in any kitchen, and I haven't actually been in a kitchen that has a guard, yes there is a step next to it that leads to the laundry. There are doors to close the kitchen off completely if you felt it unsafe, (although never have I had this mentioned to me and we have had many families with children stay) there was also a fire guard in front of the open fireplace, which at this time of year as the fire isn't on, you could easily have used that at the oven if this was an issue for you. Also a bbq out the back. Glad everything was ok.

Great place if you want a quiet getaway from the world. Note you need to drive through an unsealed road, so it’s not somewhere you want to go with a luxury car. Saw beautiful sunsets from the place and had fun trying to feed the horses!

Response from Trish:
Glad you had fun, the 5kms of unsealed road is graded twice a year and is suitable for all car types. Luxury included. When you come from the city I always advise to slow down, especially with wildlife and road conditions.

We had a wonderful stay. Our two families felt so at home from the moment we pulled up at the gate. The cosiness, both temperature and ambience was great. Loads of space but so homely. Great kitchen for sitting around the big island bench. The kids had a ball being able to r…

Hi, I am a mum of four children, we have lived in the Snowy Mountains for 9 years, I run our farm of 150 acres with cattle and horses. We are all avid skiers and snowboarders and love our lifestyle here in the mountains.
