Comfortable, clean, charming. The location is convenient to Kent and near the main road, and yet it felt secluded and quiet. The owners are artists. Their creativity and personal attention to comfort and design were evident.

We stayed in Kent as a hopping-off point for some hiking and outdoor time as a getaway from NYC. Abby's place was a pretty quick drive to town for excellent restaurants, and anything we wanted to visit (winery, hiking trails) were also accessible by car. Abby and Greg were communicative and very friendly. The barn itself is very cool and the decor (as well as the mini amphitheater in the backyard!) reflect the artistic tastes of the hosts. We were comfortable and enjoyed having our own writers' retreat at the huge kitchen table. Perhaps we'll return and bring friends! Thanks again.

A secluded and beautiful home, filled with incredible art and rustic charm, the Wandering Peacock was close enough to the the center of Kent to visit and enjoy the shops and restaurants there. Additionally, we went just 2 minutes down the road the other way, and were amazed by the incredible scenery around Bull's Bridge and the AT. Our hosts were incredibly friendly and gracious as well. The entire experience was outstanding!
